Yeah, I just find it interesting how awful it is on stuff that should be easy for the average 8th grader. Like getting camera distance right, lighting good, and sound that doesn't sound like it's in a tunnel. As for conversational content, what's really different? Kelly and Ryan normally chatted about something they'd done, or their family, and fluffy news items or celeb news. Why can't they do that now?
It's tabloid reporting largely with anonymous sources, but sad if any of it is true:
I don't know who Ellen pissed off, but there seems to be an organized effort to trash her recently. I don't know her personally, and don't watch her show, but it does seem strange that all of a sudden she's in the news every couple of days with another "Ellen's a bad person" article.

That's a shame. I've only seen the one that I'd linked above. Could be coming from disgruntled staff, the anti-gays that have always been after her, or folks with legit beefs. I hope she deals with it and bounces back.
My own complaint: The gift giving is nice, but I think she goes too far with the commercialization of her on-air time.
Adam was in jeopardy last week, so he could be up. But if Rob's team has to go to Council again, his tribe might try to dump him.
You been keeping up?
Not the best season ever but really good.
Seems like they're telegraphing Tony for the win but a couple more double episodes to go which could change things.
Oh yeah, I'm still here. I've lost some of my faves, though, and haven't ever cared much for Tony. He was double-lucky and skilful last week - we'll see how long he can keep that up.

The Tony show continues. "He's a boss".
I'd think he'd have to idol his way to the finals at this point, just too over the top obvious.
My faves are dwindling also. Guess I'm team Michele or Jeremy at this point, I'd be ok with Denise also. No Ben, Sarah or Nick. No returnee either.
Eamus Catuli~AC 000000000101010202020303010304 020405....Ahhhh, forget it, it's gonna be a while.

Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
It's Monday, though, maybe I'll give her another chance this week.
Opps. Bad choice. Still awful video, awful sound, boring content.
:?: It's still Mon Apr 13, 2020 here in NC. What is it in SoCal?
It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.
One of the more current applicable Rod Serling intros is this one: "where logic is an enemy and truth is a menace; welcome to the twilight zone."

Still watching old Westerns like Gunsmoke, The Rifleman, Wagon Train....sometimes I even get in character by eating beans and bacon and massive amounts of beer and Mr Natural. Just the other day saw Peter Fonda on Wagon Train; with all the beans and beer and everything I wasn't sure if it was Peter or not, but at the end his name rolled by in the beans and bacon and beer credits. I congratulated myself on recognizing someone from sixty years ago while suffering the three "B's" plus the good company of Mr Natural.

"Blazing Saddles" is one of the funniest films ever made. Never get tired of it.

"Excuse me while I whip this out"
"...I don't know. Are we black?"
"badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges" (actually taken from "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre")
I don't know what it was about that general time period, but it produced a few others in my all-time funniest list (in no particular order):
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Porky's
Maybe because they still had a sometimes-gross, bad taste, crude hilarious comedy that you probably couldn't make anymore. Could you hear the howling of sexist impropriety if this one was made now?
