“The simple step of a simple courageous man is not to partake in falsehood, not to support false actions,” Alexandr Solzhenitsyn said in his mesmerizing 1970 Nobel lecture. “Let that enter the world, let it even reign in the world—but not with my help.”
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
Article after article, starting back in 2017 at least "Trump's over the edge" "Trump's losing it" "Trump's face melts..." And yet, he's still there, still scaring the bejeezus out of Repugs, still godlike to his cultists. Clearly they enjoy his craziness.

My initial reaction was to wonder when was he ever raveled.
Impeached Pretend President* takes his photo-op tour of Arizona mask factory to the tune of "Live and Let Die"
Whoever was in charge of the playlist for his visit deserves a "Hero"!

... It’s not clear who selected the music, the White House or Honeywell. However, the Washington Times notes the tune is often featured at Trump rallies.
Other songs played during the visit ― including “God Bless the U.S.A.,” “Eye of the Tiger” and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” ― are also staples of Trump’s political events....
I'm pretty sure most people - even trumpettes - know the difference in what really is a "war" and what isn't. Particularly since the ridiculous overuse of the term over the past few decades - "war on drugs" etc. But I think another reason he's trying to portray it as a "war" is to make it easier to blame, cast aspersion, and create animosity toward the Chinese.

No shit. In the past four or five decades the US has lost the Vietnam war, the war on poverty, the war on drugs, and the war on terror. The current war on lies and stupidity versus truth and objective reality is ongoing and stupid has been making a strong show these past three years.

Well, Trump may be aware that the American electorate is generally loathe to vote out an incumbent president while the nation is at war with a human opponent.
He may want to consider that theory in light of the fate of LBJ.
