The wingnut preacher in LA has a warrant for his arrest for driving his god bus in a menacing manner. Another goddamn Christian victim will now have something else to whine about how he is a victim. This fool should have let god drive. Oh, well......

... The warrant charges Spell with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon ...
Spell is expected to be booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Tuesday, a police spokesman told The New York Times. He faces a maximum sentence of six months behind bars if convicted.

... Spell said his defense lawyer is Roy Moore, the former Alabama judge and defeated Senate candidate who was accused of sexually assaulting multiple women when they were teenagers.

Commandment-level sinful false witness.... Harold Orillion, 78-year-old member of the Life Tabernacle Church, later died from complications related to COVID-19. Spell has insisted that Orillion’s death was unrelated to the virus....

A biblical myth bites the dust. The Pools of Solomon aren't his after all. Other myths persist, though.

... What this means, then, is that there is no biblical or archeological basis for claims that these pools evidence “activities of the Jewish nation in the Land of Israel,” as proponents of their ‘return’ advocate.”
“The problem with the story told to support the ‘return’ of The Pools to Israeli control is that it is wrong,” said Letteney, “The Pools are not Jewish. (Pools, for what it is worth, cannot be Jewish, Muslim, Christian, or Druze. I’ve spent a lot of time in these Pools and I’ve never once heard them pray.)

Bazinga. They are also not Muslim. They are not Christian. If they “are” anything, they are Roman.” Currently, under the Oslo Accords, the Pools are located in Area A, an area of the West Bank where Israeli citizens cannot legally go. They border one of the largest and most politically important settlements in the West Bank.
The political context was something that Letteney was aware of as he worked. “There are deep, abiding, and fraught ethical issues involved in doing archaeology under military occupation.” The irony is that the situation of oppression and military occupation fits well with the original context of the construction of the Pools they were “were built under military occupation, in a moment when Jews were banished from their ancestral homeland Jerusalem.”

I've read lately that Israel is getting ready to annex a greater portion of the West Bank. I figure it was part of Jared's master plan. He's a whirling dervish of Mideast as well as pndemic mumbo jumbo and both of those situations he got into turn to a clown show and a shit rain. Next year they will name them the Kushner Pools and the cult with gush in awe.

I saw Jim Bakker in a Bi Lo store in Hendersonville. This was about 1991 or so. He used to live on Dana Road. He's a short little hypocrite. I read this morning that he's suffered a stroke. There is only one perfect man that walked this earth.
Jesus said, forgive them Father, for they do not know what they do.
Satan came to Jesus to tempt him, the devil failed. One of the devil's goals, destroy the church.
Satan knows he can't win and will use every tool of deception to send others with him to hell.

Re: The Religion Thread
If the devil failed, didn't destroy the church, and knows he can't win, why do you persist in your incessant whining and squawking that you're a victim? This incessant refrain of being a victim logically means that you're actually on the side of the devil if the devil has failed and knows he can't win. Why do you hate your religion and your country and insist that people who love their country and are dismissive of your religion have turned you into a perpetual universal victim? Never let a chance to be a victim go to waste.1 CAT FAN wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 11:28 amThere is only one perfect man that walked this earth.

Re: The Religion Thread
Grasshopper, it's not me who hates god. You are the one who shits on and denies the basic fundamental tenets of your professed religion. Remember when god took glee in the misfortune of others? Remember when god or Jesus became advocates of lying, cheating, and stealing? Me either. You fall all over yourself in your sanctimonious self righteousness and political allegiance to a cult of ignorance that shits on everything this country and the Christian religion represents and you have the nerve to ask me why I hate god? I don't hate god, you do, I just don't believe in him but I admire his dictates that you shit on and sully. Why do you hate your country and your religion so much? When did you first begin to stray from the basic concepts of them? What happened in your life to make you turn to hate and ignorance?
