The Religion Thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

What happened in your life that caused you to hate God so much?
What happened in catfan's life that made him hate God so much?
I keep asking him but all he does is meow, hiss, and piss.
It's a good question, deserving of an answer. Maybe if you spoke up. Many of the righties talk in all caps, trump uses all caps to push important points or bullshit and lies and even 1cat uses all caps to spell his own name.

I suggest that you ask him in caps.

Yeah, well, I've thought about speaking up in a more direct manner, but being the restrained mild mannered sort of guy I am, I've not done so.

 Try reading it s l o w l y. Indifference or apathy do not equal hate. Just as understanding something does not equal approval of it. But this is very confusing for someone who hates their country and their religion but I have hope for you. That hope is hope that will not be used as a weapon or a shield; nor will that hope result in me considering myself a victim if my hope does not come to pass. Unlike you, I do not make my love of my country conditional on it being run by a raccoon eyed juvenile minded moron and pathological liar who is the leader of a cult of ignorance and lies. Your acceptance of that condition, and your apparent glee in it, by default means that you hate your country and what it stands for as well as your religion and what it stands for. cultist

Oh, fuck, he thinks Allah is the black god from hell and one more thing that makes him a victim, never realizing that those terrorists hate their religion as much as he hates his. He can't see what he thinks is his god because of the kibbles and bits he's focused on. He don't realize those kibbles and bits are the same sort of kibbles and bits those Allah fools kibble around with. sick dick Rick pickle

I guess I was vague about who will learn the lesson. Certainly not fundies, but it sounds like this now closed congregation has learned.

It's ok, Cat Fan thinks his god is white.

Amazing how he never answers a single question. He's more like a scaredy-cat.

Here's a tragic story of how faith is no match for biology. The pastor who cures Coronavirus by virtue of the laying on of hands dies from Coronavirus. It is unclear how this tragic turn of events came to pass.....perhaps the hands were laid on in the wrong place, or the hands were not being held in the correct position, or the hands could have been tainted by some random sin that just happened to pass by at the right moment. In any case, this pastor's scam is no more.

As with chloroquin and injecting disinfectants the laying on of hands is proven safe and effective. However, you still can't touch your face afterwards.
... According to the BBC, Ndifor’s family and followers had planned to contest the death ruling and keep the body for his resurrection. Police needed teargas to disperse the crowd, then forcefully removed the corpse for a quick burial in line with local procedures for COVID-19 infection, The Cameroon Tribune reported....
Great, now I'm worried about COVID-19 zombies, too.

It's clear as a damn bell. Can't you read?

“Let the women learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”

The next City Council meeting should be verrry interesting. This is not some isolated burg, Wylie is a suburb of Dallas. I would go to watch the fireworks . . . and not speak.
“All I ask is that those leading the public prayer be young men,” Wylie Mayor Eric Hogue wrote in an email to a member of the City Council who requested an invocation from members of a student group called Youth With a Mission, according to local media.

Comments:
LOL, I get you want a young man, but keep that stuff for after hours.
Sounds like a pedophile and avid Trump supporter.
Read between the lines. Why only "young men"? Hmm.
Mayor Eric Hogue's browsing history should be an interesting read.
"Hogue wrote that he takes the Bible literally"
So he believes the earth is flat, sits on four pillars, and does not move.
Oh, and that the Moon produces its own light, bats are really just birds, and sunlight existed before the sun and stars did.
It's all in the Bible!
I guess never read that part of the US Constitution that allows a government to establish a religion. Where is that exactly so I can read it?
