Re: What are you watching?
I found it unclear what was actually counted, based on the somewhat limited poll. Was it one guy in California watched "Friends" a gazillion times, or was it everybody watched it at least once? Maybe "what show have you watched the most in the past two months?" If so, it would be reasonable that a lot of viewings occurred of shows that come on every day. Anyway, it would also be interesting to know what viewing habits have changed, if any, during the SIYFH orders. Other than not watching sports, of course.

Idk. It's just a silly topic, probably not worth overthinking. No state preference applies to any one individual, anyhow (except Whack9O Really wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2020 5:31 pmI found it unclear what was actually counted, based on the somewhat limited poll. Interesting to me how his rep as POTUS has been rehabbed from rotten to mediocre (I think) in my lifetime. Idk enough about him to have my own opinion.

Re: What are you watching?
Might be fun to assign a show to each state as to what old shows it "should" be watching. NC could watch "Andy Griffith" re-runs; maybe "Golden Girls" or "Miami Vice" for Florida;Vrede too wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2020 9:47 amIdk. It's just a silly topic, probably not worth overthinking. Re: What are you watching?
Thanks

I think that I would stick with:
Law & Order SVU for AL & MS.

Star Trek for OR & WA.
The Walking Dead for SC.
The map doesn't show a selection for either MD or DC.

MD could be Homicide: Life on the Street

DC could be The West Wing (one of my all time favorites).
CA could be Baywatch

TN could be Hee Haw.
NJ would have to be Jersey Shore.

Maybe "Northern Exposure" for WA.
Either you or neo has to take "Dukes of Hazzard"
NJ can also have "The Sopranos" along with most any other gangster series.

Good ones, except that Dukes of Hazzard was set in rural Georgia. Whew.

I didn't know that - I thought it was Kentucky.
I guess the closest we have to "rural Georgia" is just north of billy.p. He can watch the Daisy Dukes.
Ulysses can binge "Dirty Harry."

But filmed in WA.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_ ... Production
I remember Washingtonians being quite proud of it, and making some good money from Northern Exposure tourists.

And still. Particularly in the little town of Roslyn, where the moose is still on the side of the restaurant.Vrede too wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2020 3:18 pmBut filmed in WA.

I didn't, but I forgot the name. I was going to look up David Lynch, but then forgot to do that

Re: What are you watching?
If GoCubsGo gets tired of all the "Chicago..." shows, he can binge "Happy Days," "Laverne and Shirley", and "That Seventies Show." Yeah, I know - they're Milwaukee, not Illinois, but whatever.

Don't actually watch the Chicago shows, might have to check them out.
But I loved ER and Hill Street Blues back in the day.

Re: What are you watching?
Lady O likes all of them - Med, Fire, and PD - I don't usually watch any but Fire. All the shows in the series are somewhat soapish as well as action. And one of the Fire guys has the worst attempted "Chicago" accent I've heard.

More states and TV shows:
Oregon should watch "Grimm" ( I really miss that show)
Vermont gets Bob Newhart, second version.
Mainers have a wide choice of anything Stephen King.

Re: What are you watching?
Weekend at Bernie's every 4 or 6 years, depending.
Grant 2: Lincoln's General - also great. We're still at the May 5–7, 1864 Battle of the Wilderness, so Grant 3: Freedom's Champion - 27 May 2020 won't be all politics.
I had to laugh remembering how Vox/Bungalow Bill would piss off Ragin' Rebel by praising "Uncle Billy" Sherman.
