Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Ok, this is weird.

What is it?

Answer:
Spoiler:
Turn pic upside down.
 I guessed correctly . . .
Spoiler:
. . . based on the paws, but I was not expecting that and could not picture it until I actually flipped the image. Even then, it took a couple of seconds.
Thanks.

You did better than I did!

I was going to go with pig or pig relative until I noticed the lack of cloven hooves. That made me think deformed puppy.

I don't think it's deformed, just strangely upside down with it's ear folded out.

I read a story that don trump jr. will be going to Alaska to hunt grizzly bears. I am vigorously rooting for the bear. I think it would be cool if one sneaked up on him, took his gun away, and beat the shit out of him with it, then dragged him off to the den and just slapped him around for the hell of it while the cubs pissed on his leg. After two months of this fun and frivolity junior will be discovered wandering naked and babbling on a rural Alaska back road. This will make him a hero with the stupid cult members and they will send him guns and flowers.

Guesses:
Smell, as you say, somewhat, but there has to be human stink all over that yard.
Humans of any size are not recognized as food. It would only be by accident that they learn how tasty toddlers are (or so I've heard).
Unfamiliarity with windows. Maybe they don't recognize the movement as being mammalian of any type.

'You pay the price sometimes': Australian man could face £14,500 fine for rescuing trapped (baby) whale
The rescuer took matters in to his own hands after authorities failed to respond to calls for over two hours

:wtf:

And, it was a controversial govt shark net, not a commercial fishing net.

One thing is certain - any fine won't come out of his own pocket in the age of Go Fund Me.

Pretty sure it was stuck, looks like there was no shallow end.

Opps.

Brave of whoever to get that close. Mooses can be mean. I had one back me off a trail in Isle Royale National Park.

Maybe Canadian moose are more polite ;) . Hopefully used a zoom from indoors.

Backpacking in Yellowstone Park, woken by heavy breathing snuffling right outside the tent, sure it was a bear. Finally got up the nerve to look - adult moose . . . and baby grazing just a few feet away. This was not necessarily safer than a bear, but all we could do is zip the tent up again and try to sleep. We lived.

I've come across moose several times, but never aggressive ones.
