Absolutely pickle Rick damn right. I've never been disgruntled without reason and by pickle Rick when I get disgruntled it isn't just for the hell of it. My disgruntlement has to be earned.....and un gruntled in a way that disgruntles the objects of my initial disgruntlement. okO Really wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 5:44 pmYeah, more of the ol' "disgruntled employee" bit. Don't they ever wonder why being disgruntled makes their story any less true? Or if they are disgruntled, why are they? And did the employer hire them disgruntled or make them disgruntled? Do only gruntled employees get to criticize?

That's actually the very reason why I think they won't seriously flip on Trump. They still believe even at this late stage it's best to fall in line behind Trump. At this point it's my opinion they've made their bed and it's not in their best interest to flip.Vrede too wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 6:56 pmI agree with GoCubsGo. I give them no credit for honor, but I think their priorities in descending order are:
Personal electoral interests
Party electoral interests
Loyalty to PINO
(other things)
Patriotism and respect for the Constitution

Could be. If so, our predictions sync. I'm just wondering now that the primaries are mostly over and it looks like PINO is taking the GOP down with him.bannination wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 8:53 pmThat's actually the very reason why I think they won't seriously flip on Trump. Re: President* Trump
Trump shares a letter written by his lawyer responding to Mattis:
It's wild how Trump's lawyer's vernacular is so similar to Donald's. What a coincidence.
It's wild how Trump's lawyer's vernacular is so similar to Donald's. What a coincidence.
Jim:
I slept on your statement and woke up appalled and upset. You lost me. Never dreamed you would let a bunch of hack politicians use your good name and reputation-earned with the blood and guts of young Marines
You did what you said you would – engage in this discourse.
Marines keep their word.
The phony protesters near Lafayette park were not peaceful and are not real. They are terrorists using idle hate filled students to burn and destroy. They were abusing and disrespecting the police when the police were preparing the area for the 1900 curfew. Jim, this is the new nihilism. See Dan Henninger in WSJ today
Marines support the police in harm’s way.
Did you forget that President Bush used active duty Marines to quell the riots in LA? President Trump has countless cities and some snowflake governors and mayors wetting themselves in the use of force to protect innocent lives and property. The AG of Massachusetts thinks burning property is a good protest. Three more policemen were stabbed and shot in NYC last night
Think about it. Should he be upset about the obvious failure of leadership? Where are you Jim?
Marines go to the fight.
No one divided this country more than Obama. He abandoned our black brother and sisters. He gave guns to the cartels. He apologized for our precious sacrifice and generosity overseas.
You remember, he fired you.
President Trump has done more to help our minority brothers and sisters in three years than anyone in the last fifty. Ask the black pastors. Ask the leaders of the black colleges and university. He got them funded.
Ask them about the prison reform which ended the draconian sentences imposed on young black men by the laws enacted by Biden and his hacks
You need to bone up on your homework and stop listening to Uncle Leon.
I understand, you had to stick to the assigned narrative which did not include three years of corrupt investigations and evidence to destroy this President, his office, and his lawful free election. Nancy has no tolerance for dissent in the ranks-including those with stars.
You said nothing of the ugly, hate filled, disgraceful comments of Pelosi, Schumer, Perez and other Democrat hacks defaming the President and his office. You said nothing of the unlawful sanctuary cities and the unlawful release of hoodlums. You said nothing of the resistance movement to paralyze our courts and our government operations. You said nothing of the obstruction and subversion of our immigration laws. You said nothing of MS-13 killers and the drug cartels who own huge sections of our major cities. Jim, do you think that hateful rhetoric and those corrupt actions were inspiring and unifying? Do you think the DI’s at Parris Island would find such behavior as unifying?
Maybe, your problem, is a lot deeper. Perhaps you ought to explain how and why you (and John Allen), as CG Central Command, did not engage and take out Iranian Major General Soleimani who roamed the Middle East and wreaked havoc and death of our American boys with his infamous IEDs?
Why did it take President Trump to have the instincts and balls to take him out ( of course over the objection of the geniuses in the Pentagon)?
Looks like the Persian mullahs were a one horse sleigh and Trump nailed the horse…..forever. It has been quiet ever since. Perhaps, your anger is borne of embarrassment for your own failure as the leader of Central Command. Did you applaud when the President recognized the central problem in the middle east? Did you applaud the President when he wanted to save American lives by bringing them home in one piece?

Trump on Lisa Murkowski, Alaska Senator:
In case anyone lacked a pulse to their brain, here's some irrrefutable proof Trump doesn't give two shits about whether or not a person has any other qualities except loyalty to TrumpFew people know where they’ll be in two years from now, but I do, in the Great State of Alaska (which I love) campaigning against Senator Lisa Murkowski. She voted against HealthCare, Justice Kavanaugh, and much else...
Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
...Unrelated, I gave Alaska ANWR, major highways, and more. Get any candidate ready, good or bad, I don’t care, I’m endorsing. If you have a pulse, I’m with you!

Murkowski is pretty tough. She lost in the Republican primary, then beat the Republican and Democrat for the seat as a nominal independent. Trump would (unnecessarily) likely be taking a bigger bite than he can chew, but it matters not. By 2022, Trump will be politically irrevelant.

Well, there's that. But I'm thinking that at this point it would be incredibly difficult for him to survive the election- even for a person capable of "turning the ship" which he's clearly not ever been willing or able to do. But even if he should be re-elected, he'll lose a lot of his bullying power as Republicans start looking toward their own future.

Then, there's:John Kelly says he agrees with Mattis: 'We need to look harder at who we elect'
President Trump's former chief of staff Gen. John Kelly said he agreed with former Defense Secretary James Mattis when he released a statement attacking the president's leadership and describing Trump as a threat to the Constitution.
"I think we need to look harder at who we elect," Kelly said during a Friday interview with former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci.
"I think we should start -- all of us, regardless of what our views are on politics, I think we should look at people that are running for office and put them through the filter -- what is their character like? What are their ethics? Are they willing, if they're elected, to represent all of their constituents, not just the base, but all of their constituents? And then look at the politics."
Some of his comments bore resemblance to the statement from Mattis, which was published by The Atlantic on Wednesday....

... "The president has clearly forgotten how it actually happened or is confused," he added....

Re: President* Trump
6/4 was the 31st anniversary of the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre.
PINO 1990:
He warned us about so much. Collectively, we're idiots for electing him.Trump's praise for China over Tiananmen Square years ago was a preview of his support for military crackdowns on the George Floyd protests
... It was March 1990, and Trump was being interviewed by Playboy magazine about his life as a real estate mogul. At one point, Trump was asked about a trip he'd taken to Moscow a few years prior.
Trump said he'd been "very unimpressed" with the Soviet Union.
"Their system is a disaster," Trump said. "What you will see there soon is a revolution; the signs are all there with the demonstrations and picketing. Russia is out of control and the leadership knows it. That's my problem with [former Soviet President Mikhail] Gorbachev. Not a firm enough hand."
Trump was then asked if he meant "firm hand as in China."
"When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it. Then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength," Trump replied. "That shows you the power of strength. Our country is right now perceived as weak...as being spit on by the rest of the world."
On June 4, 1989, after several weeks of pro-democracy and pro-reform demonstrations, Chinese troops entered Tiananmen Square in Beijing and fired on unarmed people. Hundreds, possibly thousands, were killed....
