As far as I know, the decision as to where the convention will be is not up to trump but the RNC. I hope they still have it and have to adhere to health safety procedures in Charlotte but then they decide to ignore them and get shut down and or quarantined by the county Fire Marshall.

Well, they held out for a couple of days before bowing to their cult leader. And I saw a story earlier this morning that the RNC will still have some sort of event in Charlotte as planned, just not the "celebration" of giving trump their nomination as per their statement.

That's what I've been saying all along. An ass-kicking would (will??) be nice, but bottom line Dems only need to win one or two of the states Trump barely stole last time.

And while the Biden surge is with a lot of new "Barely Dem" states, Biden barelies include Arizona where he has a 4 percent lead, and Nevada where he has a three percent lead. Those add up to another 17 electoral votes, raising his probable electoral vote count from the pessimistic 273 to a more realistic 290.

Yes, it's five months to the election, but Trump is still making all the wrong moves, day after day, week after week, month after month. As with his casino and other gambits, he seems determined to fail. It would take martial law for him to avoid getting shown the door.

I didn't say that Biden's "probable electoral vote count" is 273. That's what it would be if everything broke for PINO, not counting any shift among "Likely" states. I suspect that it's more accurate to say that the probable electoral vote count is the 368 that you cite for Biden, plus possibly the 38 from tied TX.
