Yeah, looks like they'll have to go back to blaming Obama for the "broken tests" for a virus that did not exist until after Obama left office. It still amazes me that the cult can swallow that one, but they do. Like here, it's usually his own staff that claims "joking" or "sarcasm", but now we know that he doesn't kid.bannination wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2020 2:03 pm'I don't kid': Trump contradicts aides and insists he meant it when he asked for coronavirus testing to be slowed down

NC?Future Trump Rally Sites Brace as His COVID Roadshow Comes to Town
These days, President Donald Trump’s insatiable cravings for a crowd means asking his fans and supporters to risk their health by packing together indoors despite deep concerns from health experts.
As Trump rallied largely unmasked supporters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, over the weekend, Arizonans more than a thousand miles away watched warily, knowing that days later it would be their turn to balance keeping the public safe with Trump’s eagerness to return to his cherished rally format.
"I think the bigger problem, more than just the spreading at this particular event, is the message that it sends to the community because you have the president and then the governor endorsing large-scale events like this with ambiguous mitigation measures in place," said Will Humble, the executive director of the Arizona Public Health Association.
The president’s visit comes as hospital-specific COVID-19 figures hit new highs, according to The Arizona Republic. Intensive care unit beds in use had jumped to 583 in the latest figures released Monday. And in Maricopa County, home to Phoenix, the local health department is warning that “there is increased spread in the community,” as figures for those diagnosed with COVID-19 rise.
It’s against that backdrop that Trump steams into town to address a Students for Trump rally in Phoenix at the Dream City Church.
Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said in a statement Monday that the stop “was not sanctioned or permitted by the city,” but acknowledged she had no way to stop it.
“While I do not believe an event of this magnitude can be held safely, particularly as Arizona sees rising COVID cases, the President has decided to continue with this rally,” Gallego said....
At the very least an event in Alabama at some point in the coming weeks to troll his former Attorney General Jeff Sessions appears likely, as well as Trump’s RNC convention speech in Jacksonville in August....
Trump may also face resistance if he tries to hold major rallies soon in swing states that would be crucial to his re-election chances. Michigan ... Ohio ... Wisconsin and Pennsylvania ...

Not sure why, but I get a kick out of reading trumpspeak out loud to a select audience.

Probably for most of the permanently masked folks, but otherwise I'm pretty sure the feds have multi-angle, high res video.

Maybe, but even so, I don't think you can apply a criminal law retroactively. They're trying to intimidate future urban crusading.

It's longstanding Vandalization of Federal Property law, but I doubt that anyone ever gets 10 years.

1666. DESTRUCTION OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY -- 18 U.S.C. § 1361
Section 1361 protects "any property" of the United States or an agency or department thereof, or any property being manufactured or constructed for the United States or an agency or department thereof, from willful depredation or attempted depredation. "Depredation" has been characterized as the act of plundering, robbing, pillaging or laying waste. United States v. Jenkins, 554 F.2d 783, 786 (6th Cir. 1977); cf. Deal v. United States, 274 U.S. 277, 283 (1927) ("depredation" defined in context of postal statute). This section prohibits actual physical damage or destruction of both real and personal property, but mere adverse possession of that property without physical harm is insufficient to violate the law. United States v. Jenkins, supra, 554 F.2d at 785. Section 1361 is a specific intent crime, see United States v. Jones, 607 F.2d 269, 273-74 (9th Cir. 1979), cert. denied, 444 U.S. 1085 (1980), and the government must prove that the defendant acted willfully; that is intentionally, with knowledge that he/she is violating a law. United States v. Simpson, 460 F.2d 515, 518 (9th Cir. 1972); United States v. Moylan, 417 F.2d 1002, 1004 (4th Cir. 1969), cert. denied, 397 U.S. 910 (1970). The government is not required to prove that defendant knew the property belonged to the government, because government ownership is "merely a 'jurisdictional fact'." United States v. LaPorta, 46 F.3d 152, 158 (2d Cir. 1994), quoting United States v. Feola, 420 U.S. 671 (1975). In fact, title or possession by the United States is not a necessary element of this offense, if the property in question was being made for the United States. The government must present evidence establishing value of damage. United States v. Seaman, 18 F.3d 649, 651 (9th Cir. 1994). The penalties for violations of this section are tied to the extent of the property damage. As amended on September 13, 1994, if the damage exceeds $100, the defendant is subject to a fine of up to $250,000, ten years imprisonment, or both. See Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, Pub. L. 103-322, § 330016, 108 Stat. 1796, 2146-47 (1994). When property damage does not exceed $100, the offense is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $100,000, one year imprisonment, or both. See 18 U.S.C. §§ 3559(a), 3571.

Re: President* Trump
I guess that covers everything from killing an active duty military member to stealing a tank; and everything in between. The part about how you're guilty even if you didn't know the property was owned by the government is especially useful.

Re: President* Trump
Thanks.
I'll correct myself. Some Plowshares activists have gotten some very stiff sentences, even when the "damage" they did was minimal and largely symbolic.

Trump shares a video on twitter of Trump supporters yelling white power:
Let's look at some other weird coincidences:
Trump campaign runs ad with red inverted triangle, a nazi symbol denoting political prisoners:

The homeland security website made a post with the words
Which sounds eerily similar to the "14 word" sloagan often used by white supremacists:

Both even have 14 words.
Also, this weird statistic:
Another reference to "1488", a white supremacists trope:
Some of this sounds like some Qanon level grasping for straws. I wouldnve said the same about the numbers in the statistics. But the weird DHS post and the Trump campaign using the nazi symbol for political prisoners makes me think at least some stuff is an intentional dog whistle or attempt at trolling.

White supremacists use "88" as a reference to "heil hitler". Who uses x out of 88. Why not x out of 100? Weird. On average, out of 88 claims that pass the credible fear screening, fewer than 13 will ultimately result in a grant of asylum.
