Please listen to our health care professionals regarding covid-19. My job as mayor is do to my best to keep our community safe, not make easy or politically popular decisions. As we have said from the beginning, we will follow the advice of our health care professionals and we will continue to do so. Also, ANTIFA is not coming to Tupelo, Elvis statues are not being removed, you are not the target of some type of global conspiracy, it is impossible to erase history and no one has attempted to do so, covid is not a hoax, you shouldn’t believe and share posts that are obviously false or used as political propaganda, and there is nothing “liberal” about any of the actions that have been taken by our administration regarding these matters.

I went to an ICP (Insane Clown Posse) show one time at this crappy venue. Tickets were 20 bucks. I'm not a fan of ICP, but I knew the level of trashiness would be off the charts so I had to go. I was not dissapointed. Saw some drunk woman walking around barefoot in and out of the restrooms. Mind you, the restrooms at this place are absolutely disgusting.
I wonder if juggalos have a natural immunity to COVID-19 due to a slow and steady exposure to nastiness. Once the virus wipes out humanity they may be the only ones left to rebuild. If that's the case count me out. I've lived a fruitful enough life and I'll be happy to peace out.

To be fair, the names of the infected students may be restricted to 'need to know' public health officials by HIPAA and/or other laws.

One would hope that contact tracing and appropriate quarantining are happening. Of course, few college parties have guest lists. So, the parties should definitely be IDed and attendees encouraged to ID themselves to public health, or at least get tested and self-quarantine.

Rockland County, New York, is seeing a coronavirus cluster attributed to a large party -- one of the many gatherings in the area, county Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel said Wednesday.
The host of the party was ill at the time and the virus spread to at least eight others -- all young adults, Schnabel said at a news conference.
