Yeah this is all over Facebook.

So what happens is they toss some stuff out that no rational human being would disagree with, namely saving our children and ending human trafficking. Then you sprinkle in a few references to pizza-gate-esque conspiracy theories - hollywood elites and high ranking government officials being complicit in the trafficking of minors. Then people begin going down the rabbit hole, eventually finding themselves becoming part of the Qanon crowd.

I worked with the real Save the Children in Honduras in the wake of the catastrophic Hurricane Mitch. Maybe it was before it went over to the dark side, but no one offered me any kids . . . or, I'm lying, heh heh heh.

I see trump's push against mail-in as standard rovian misdirection cover for massive republican mail-in voting fraud, as well as a reason to refuse to accept the results if he loses.

I don't really see how "massive" voter fraud could even be possible either in person or in the mail. Every registered voter in every county in the country is on a list of registered voters. If you're on the list, you can vote; if not, you can't. How do you figure fictional voters can survive the audit process at the county level? How could any one person vote more than once? How could phantom voters vote without being on the county election board's list?

It's a terminology thing. What billy.pilgrim describes is actually election fraud, as happened in the 2018 North Carolina's 9th congressional district election.

As neoplacebo says, voter fraud is difficult, rare and ineffective. Plus, it's usually Repugs that are caught.
