It's a nice fantasy, but:

VP Q-tip would have to die and then 45SHOLE would have to die before a replacement VP could get confirmed.

Something tells me that Moscow Mitch would not let that happens even if he has to fake one of them still being alive for a few hours or days.

I was thinking today that Pence has one last chance to save what remains of his pitiful personal, political, and moral legacy. IF the VP debate still happens Wednesday night, the answer to any and all questions from the moderator to Pence should be "As a member of this administration, I am well aware of what our policies are and have been. But I'd also like to say....I'm not the goddamn president." Or he can just stand there and lie some more and sort of cheerlead for his lobotomized way of life. I tend to think he'll choose the "stand there and lie" strategy. We'll see what happens.
