I don't know much about Coastal Carolina, and don't know who they played. And anybody can argue about the 4 teams capriciously picked for the fictional "playoff." But in a pandemic year with lots of games moved, delayed, cancelled and playing short schedules (you know who you are Buckeyes), it just t'ain't right for a 11-0 team not to get a bowl you've heard of. They couldn't put them in the Gator, Orange, Cotton, or Fiesta Bowl? The "Cure Bowl"? Seriously? No disrespect for the charitable worthy cause, but the bowl itself is bogus. And while I'm on the soap box - a "Rose Bowl" in Texas? Sure, and why don't we move the Coachella Valley music festival to Kansas while we're at it.
Plus, PSC #12/AP #9 Coastal Carolina is forced to play PSC unranked/AP #23 Liberty, a further dis.

AP also did better by 9-0 Cincinnati, making them #6 rather than the PSC's #8. It does get the 1/1 Peach Bowl vs PSC #9/AP #11 Georgia. Better.

It's the Yellow Rose Bowl of Texas.

SUNY-Buffalo (favored by 3 5.5) > Marshall.
Buffalo PK Alex McNulty entered the game 0/2 on FGs and 40/40 on EPs for the year, good enough for All MAC  . He missed another FG (34 yd), made another EP, then finally made a 25 yd FG. Congrats, Buffalo up 10-7 at the half.

Auburn set to hire Boise State's Bryan Harsin as next head football coach, source says

 :P
Boy, someone went to a lot of trouble and basically made my and Harsin's point.

He left a minor league to come play a real schedule in a major conference on actual live green grass. Didn't I read that he left a better deal at the blue field?

As I've said, Auburn, as is the case with most schools, may have to go through a few before finding the right one.

This guy may work out, but whatever happens with him our new AD made his point that he would not be intimidated by the big boosters.

Edit: that was Peterson, not Harsin, and it wasn't even at Boise.

Blue/orange field for Jordan-Hare!

Definitely not Jordan-Hare, not even Cliff Hare Stadium.

Eastern Washington. But it does have an eagle.
Thought your guys might use it for an example.

But they don't have hardly anywhere for the people to sit. Don't real stadiums seat 80 or 90 thousand people?

Yes, but ...
"Eastern Washington University is located in Cheney. When classes are in session at EWU, the city's population reaches approximately 17,600 people on a temporary basis."

That would probably not be as many as just the student section at Auburn, eh?

Auburn could do a blue/orange tiger striped field. That would be unique.

The sheets got it right. The tiger is more Clemson and that eagle is in UF colors.
