I posted the headline plus 5 words which means that, as I said, I did not post 99% of the article that I linked. By the same token, you chose not to post all the other positive data in it. I have no problem with you posting the elements that you consider relevant, it's your implication that I was being deceptive and your now trying to weasel out of doing so that is sleazy.

Scott's getting named as Dement's replacement. Now all those SC people who just couldn't stand that the President was an umm, ahem, "Kenyan" will have a black Senator! Republican affirmative action at its best.

I feel fortunate to know Tim Scott from my professional endeavors in SC. He is a fine young man. Hopefully being in the "Senate Club" will not cause him to lose his humility.

Wow - Scott is the only black Republican since Edward Brooke. If anyone want to see how far Republicans have fallen from reason, just compare Scott to Brooke. I would have expected Nikki Heat to put a fringe rightie in office. The villagers with torches and pitchforks would have been outside the Governor's Mansion if she hadn't. And I'm sure that if you knew him personally or lived next door, you might find Scott to be a nice guy. But man... Here's my prediction - Scott will get scalped in 2014, if he doesn't get outed or otherwise scandalized out of office before then.

I don't see any serious primary challenge to him in 2014. If O Really has any other info on him he should state it and not make an inference without substance. That remark is below him.

Yeah, but you don't know how these boys work. When they find one that toe's the massuh's line, they love him to death. He's a beacon on the hill for all those others who don't. He gets invited to all the festivities. He's one of the family.

The House GOP black caucus just ceased to exist. Anyhow, first black southern Senator since Reconstruction, congrats to him.

And today is the day in 1865 that the 13th Amendment was ratified.

With a name like Tim Scott I would not have known the man's race until the regular out spoken lefties threw in their two cents. I guess they cannot accept that a black man doesn't drink the dem kool aid and, let's not forget the role the Chic had in making this man what he is.

Some might say Haley took a page from the dem play book but Scott is not Jesee Jackson Jr.
