Hendersonville, NC crime rates
I was doing an unrelated search when I found a site with crime statistics. I have to say it caught me a bit off guard how high we are to the national average.
Check it out: http://www.city-data.com/crime/crime-He ... olina.html

You know those have to be inflated numbers. Without a government grant to fight high rates, HCSO would not have been able to purchase that assault vehicle that Stinger found so incredulous that I was able to comment on.bannination wrote:I was doing an unrelated search when I found a site with crime statistics. Consult with Stinger; he lives in Florida, but he's all knowing on goings-on hereabouts.

Oh, good to know they spent that extra money on something so useful.Leo Lyons wrote:You know those have to be inflated numbers. Anyone with more than one working brain cell could sniff that sort of BS halfway around the world. Sorry you've just got the one. I guess that's why you were dumb enough to try to pull that off and "think" no one would notice.Leo Lyons wrote:You know those have to be inflated numbers. Why don't you tell us all again how you showed up a month after Mister X left and then pulled up a thread of his from six months earlier to make the exact same comments about the sheriff's assault vehicle.
That would provide some great hilarity for the holidays.
I think it was something like, "Well, I'm this new guy from another galaxy, far, far way, and I discovered this forum by complete chance. I have this obsession about sheriffs with assault vehicles, so I thought -- completely out of the blue -- 'I wonder if the local sheriff in this here Henderson County has got him one of them there assault vehicles.' So, completely at random, and not knowing anything about this place or its elected officials, I searched the forum, and -- Lo and Behold! -- there it was. A thread about your sheriff buying an assault vehicle. How lucky can one man be? Here I was, from a completely different part of the country, visiting a strange forum, just DYING to talk about assault vehicles, AND YOU GUYS HAD A THREAD ABOUT ONE!!!! From six months ago. And some guy named Mister X, who just left your forum before I arrived, had the exact same opinion about assault vehicles that I have. So, I just jumped right in and started making the exact same comments as Mister X. Unbelievable, huh?"
Something like that, if I recall.
And, yeah, it was.
But 'splain it again anyway, Lucy.

Dude; if you don't like it, tough titty. Now go whine to your wet nurse some more; he's expecting you.

There's no wet nurse, and there's no whining. Just laughter and derision.Leo Lyons wrote:Dude; if you don't like it, tough titty. Now go whine to your wet nurse some more; he's expecting you.
Haven't heard of any testes transplants on the medical front, so I didn't expect you to have the balls to try that fairy tale again.
Run along now.

Since Leo doesn't have the balls to repeat his little fairy tale, I'll post the closest I can recall. It certainly was a precious little story.

Yeah, I've run into several people with that same obsession about sheriff's assault vehicles. Everywhere they go, they investigate the local sheriff's office to see if one's been purchased.

Great dodge. Funny as hell.Leo Lyons wrote:Read my last post in the Massacre In Connecticut thread...let's see who has balls.
I see you still don't have the balls to post your little fairy tale again.
Try another excuse.
Thanks for the chuckles, chucklehead.

Threat? You ignorant twit; that no threat. That is an invitation to an old fashioned ass-kicking fest. One of us would get our ass kicked, that's all.neoplacebo wrote:You must mean the one that borders on communicating threats. Uh, . . . the one I mentioned several times above. (Sorry about your reading comprehension issues.) The one that got you so pissed off that you offered some challenge that you're too chickenshit to back up. The one you attempted once, ran away from like the little chickenshit you are, and now refuse to revisit.Leo Lyons wrote:What fairy tale? Glad I could humor you.Stinger wrote:Great dodge. First you try to play tough guy to take our minds of the poor little fairy tale you tried. Didn't work.
Now you're playing stupid. "What fairy tale?"
With you, stupid is a much more believable tactic.
Keep running.
Notice you still didn't have the balls to attempt that little fairy tail again.
