... Giuliani has repeatedly disregarded public health guidelines, appearing maskless in state capitols, hotel ballrooms and at indoor news conferences in recent weeks. At many of the events, most of the other people in the indoor settings were also not wearing masks.

At some of those events, Giuliani was spotted shaking hands, hugging and taking pictures with people while not wearing a mask.

He was most recently at the Georgia Capitol in Atlanta on Thursday to attend a Georgia state Senate hearing on the November election. During a break in the hearing, Giuliani removed the mask he was wearing to greet and take pictures with supporters.

He traveled to Michigan on Wednesday for a state House committee hearing that lasted four and a half hours, during which he was maskless as he pushed misleading claims that the election was stolen from Trump.

At the beginning of the week, Giuliani was in Arizona Monday, meeting with some GOP members of the state's legislature to discuss unsubstantiated allegations that the election was fraudulent....

Giuliani has been traveling with Trump campaign attorney Jenna Ellis, who has appeared at his side at all of the events about the 2020 election in the last week....

Last month, Giuliani's son, Andrew, who is a White House staffer, tested positive for Covid-19 after attending a Trump campaign legal team news conference with his father in Washington, DC....

It's a shame about any innocents, but I have no sympathy for Rudy fan boys and girls. This ain't gonna help the Repugs in the GA runoffs.

Rudy Giuliani has a long, documented history of embarrassing technological fails. And on Wednesday night he squeezed in another one, this time related to his boss Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election that is no less hilarious despite also being unsettling.

Rudy, it seemed, tried to call one of Trump’s senatorial allies to beg for more help pulling off what amounts to coup, except whoopsie, he called the wrong senator, who promptly leaked the excruciating voicemail to The Dispatch. More on that momentarily, but you can listen to the full audio above right now.

... Giuliani attempted to call Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville to beg the former Auburn University football coach to do whatever he could to help mire the process in procedural BS. Rudy falsely claimed the hearing is being rushed and suggested that somehow, if it can only be slowed down, reality itself will change and Trump will somehow now have lost by more than 7 million votes to Biden.

Alas, he dialed the wrong guy who, as we said, leaked it to The Dispatch.

I’m calling you because I want to discuss with you how they’re trying to rush this hearing, and how we need you, our Republican friends, to try to just slow it down so we can get these legislators to get more information to you. And I know they’re reconvening at 8 tonight, but it is the only strategy we can follow is to object to numerous states and raise issues so that we get ourselves into tomorrow, ideally until the end of tomorrow,’ Rudy said.

Let's review.....Rudy made an extra trip to Ukraine last year and announced he had "suitcases of evidence" about Hunter Biden and that it was "more than you can imagine." This evidence to this day has never been presented Then Rudy was caught on video being scammed by Borat and lied about it. Then he went on tour with the "election fraud" crazy train and its freaks, held a "press conference" at a landscape company next to a porn shop, then held another "press conference" at which he damn near melted away. Then he was caught on microphone farting during a court deposition. Now it turns out he's not getting paid for any of this epochal work. I almost feel sorry for Rudy, but not quite.

I don't defend any Trumpette, but there seems to be some doubt as to whether the SEAL ever entered the Capitol. Conspiracy and incitement charges will take longer to develop the evidence for. I expect we'll see some when regretful rioters start snitching as part of their plea bargains.

We really need to end the military being a training gig for these winger terrorists, but that's what it looks like has become one of the primary reasons for joining.

I think they should bring back the draft. For the past fifty years the military has been getting less than an average representation of the population of the country. Instead it has become a last resort for dead enders, jail avoiders, and others that are less typical. I think this is bad.

High pay too, but mostly, as you say, it's not representative. Not that it really was in the 60s, but with some changes to create lot fewer ways for people to avoid, the draft would have likely prevented cheney's oil wars.

I saw a short video of Rudy from yesterday; it was only a few seconds, but he was looking pretty decrepit....he was walking like a goddamn top heavy penguin and at a very slow pace. He was carrying a large satchel type bag (probably one of the suitcases of evidence from Ukraine proving Hunter Biden is guilty of something) and his head was hanging down. He would not have looked out of place in a group of POW's being marched to their doom.
