Lawyer games. Sometimes setting up depositions is difficult even with "regular people" - getting it set up with Trump and all his legitimate and made-up issues isn't going to be easy. Even if the plaintiff want to be present, I'd probably try for a video depo and cut down a lot of the logistical complications.
