I try to be progressive about such things and have no problem using the pronouns of choice. However, for a situation that is so rare - less than "355 out of every 100,000 people" - I think it's silly that every introduction now has to include a pronoun declaration. What's the harm in those affected just making a correction if the "wrong" pronoun is used?

People are not amused when I say that my pronoun is, "Hey you."
