Another imbecile:
Riverside man arrested in Capitol riot after employer identifies him in news photo

... He was wearing a hat and shirt bearing the name and logo of the Riverside company where he worked, Milagra said in the statement filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

After the company received a complaint from someone who noticed the clothing in a photo published in the New York Times, a manager recognized Hernandez. He was fired "for misrepresenting the company in illegal activities," the FBI statement said.
Opps.
... In one Twitter post, Hernandez said the U.S. would turn into "a tyrannical dictatorship" if Americans failed to fight attempts to "steal the vote" from Trump.

"Fight Fight Fight," he wrote.

The posts show that Hernandez believes in "Q-Anon, health and science related conspiracies, financial conspiracies, and various conspiracies associated to U.S. political figures," the FBI statement said.

Hernandez tweeted a photo of a burning "Q" — a symbol associated with QAnon — over a United States seal. Hernandez's postings also heaped praise on Trump, according to the FBI. "You are the Greatest President These United States of American Has Had!" one of his tweets said.
... He was charged with obstruction of justice or Congress, two counts of entering a restricted building without legal authorization and two counts of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
:---P
Andrew Byrd, Hernandez's lawyer, had no immediate response to a request for comment. But in a Los Angeles federal court hearing conducted by remote video, Byrd said Hernandez "no longer adheres to the ideology that’s been alleged to him in the complaint.” ...

Capitol riot's 'QAnon Shaman' defends himself by claiming he 'stopped somebody from stealing muffins'

A suspect charged in the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol building is speaking from jail in a new interview — and offering a unique defense positioning himself as simply a savior of baked goods.
Mmmm, muffin savior.
Jacob Chansley, the Capitol riot suspect who refers to himself as the "QAnon Shaman" and was photographed during the insurrection wearing fur and horns, spoke with 60 Minutes in an interview broadcast Thursday, in which he claimed his "actions were not an attack on this country" as he faces up to 20 years in prison for them.

"I sang a song, and that's a part of shamanism," he said. "...I also stopped people from stealing and vandalizing that sacred space, the Senate, okay. I actually stopped somebody from stealing muffins out of the break room."
The entire nation has been most concerned about the fate of the Senate muffins.
Chansley neglected to mention the fact that, during the deadly insurrection, he allegedly left a threatening note for former Vice President Mike Pence warning, "It's only a matter of time, justice is coming."
We worried less about muffinheads like VP Q-tip.
... Despite this, Chansley, who said he regrets "entering that building," bemoaned the fact that former President Donald Trump never pardoned him or any of the other Capitol rioters, telling 60 Minutes this "wounded me so deeply" and "disappointed me so greatly." Still, Chansley added that even though he didn't get the pardon he wanted, he still doesn't regret his loyalty to Trump.
Probably should have paid closer attention the last few decades.

Different article:

QAnon Shaman Begs for Leniency: I Stopped Muffin Theft During Capitol Riot

Ummm, the muffins and all other food and drink were tossed due to fear of tampering. You saved nothing, duh.
... While preventing muffin theft is all well and good, the accusations against Chansley are very serious. On top of storming into the Capitol building, Chansley is also accused of leaving an ominous note for Vice President Mike Pence at his desk in the Senate chamber that read: “It’s only a matter of time, justice is coming.” That day, he was also carrying a spear attached to a flagpole, which prosecutors considered to be a weapon.

Chansley is facing as many as 20 years in prison, but can’t seem to see what he did wrong.
:---P
... His mother, Martha Chansley, also insisted he did nothing wrong, telling Segall that her son simply “walked through open doors.”

“He was escorted into the Senate. So, I don’t know what’s wrong with that,” she said. “I know that he is sorry but again it all comes back to he walked through open doors.”

Prosecutors haven’t said how Chansley got into the building but there’s no evidence that police guided rioters into the Senate chamber.

She justified her son’s decision to protest the election result by repeating the lie that the election was stolen. “I don’t think it’s right that [the election] was won fraudulently. I don’t believe it was won fairly at all,” she said.

If I was 30-something and being defended by my idiot wingnut mother who I live with, which is humiliating enough, I would tell her to ditch the endangered cat trim.
... While Chansley’s strange jailhouse appearance on national television might be viewed as detrimental to his legal battle, his defense attorney believes it was totally logical and justified. “[Chansley] is the most visible face of this riot. So for the first time in my career, it is not a trepidation to have my client speak out—it’s fully abated,” defense attorney Albert Watkins told The Daily Beast on Thursday.

“If anything, it’s necessary to shift the message and dialogue that I have been pushing for since Jacob Chansley has been taking into custody: The riots were more than a lynch mob, but the result of years of manipulation [from Trump].”

“He believed the president. He believed the words and reacted on those words. So when you have millions of Americans who were embracing over four years of propaganda and lies and misrepresentations daily—we have to have compassion for that. We have to have patience,” Watkins added.
Calling out former PINO, which is fine by me, won't help your traitorous client.
The lawyer added that the more people get exposed to his client, they’ll realize the “gentleman that he is” and remember that the thousands who stormed the Capitol “are our brothers and sisters and neighbors.”
Ummm, that's a huge problem, not a comfort.
CBS reporter Segall said Chansley ended his interview by shouting “SEE ME! SEE ME!” and insisting that he’s not a violent man....
Ummm, carrying a spear and threatening VP Q-tip. Opps.

I look forward to his next interview in 2041.
He is going to miss the inauguration of the 19th President? Awww.
This is the unemployed guy who lives with his mother? What a shame, he had such great prospects too.
This is so exceptionally weird lol like she's defending her darling son as if he got caught doodling on the men's room stall at school like this dude was at the forefront of a violent coup attempt sorry buddy hope the prison kale tastes organic
He's just my quirky little guy, not a real adult who has to suffer consequences for actions that were premeditated
A liking for animal skin couture must run in the family.
I bet if I saw a house with the door kicked in being burglarised and walked in just strutting around posing for photos, that would not hold up in court. Even if I said "leave those muffins alone" while others were bashing the owner in the head with a fire extinguisher.
Wow. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
That's no apple, it's a nut.

FBI Finds Contact Between Proud Boys Member and Trump Associate Before Riot

A member of the far-right nationalist Proud Boys was in communication with a person associated with the White House in the days just before the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol, according to a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.

Location, cellular and call record data revealed a call tying a Proud Boys member to the Trump White House, the official said....

Separately, Enrique Tarrio, a leader of the far-right nationalist Proud Boys, told The New York Times on Friday that he called Roger Stone, a close associate of former President Donald Trump’s, while at a protest in front of the home of Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. During the protest, which occurred in the days before the Capitol assault, he put Stone on speaker phone to address the gathering....

Tarrio was arrested in Washington on Jan. 4 on charges of destruction of property for his role in the burning of a Black Lives Matter banner that had been torn from a historic Black church during a protest in Washington in December. He was asked to leave the city, and was not present when the Capitol was attacked. His case is pending.

The Justice Department has charged more than a dozen members of the Proud Boys with crimes related to the attack, including conspiracy to obstruct the final certification of President Joe Biden’s electoral victory and to attack law enforcement officers....

The communication between the person associated with the White House and the member of the Proud Boys was discovered in part through data that the FBI obtained from technology and telecommunications companies immediately after the assault.

Court documents show FBI warrants for a list of all the phones associated with the cell towers serving the Capitol, and that it received information from the major cellphone carriers on the numbers called by everyone on the Capitol’s cell towers during the riot, three officials familiar with the investigation said.

The FBI also obtained a “geofence” warrant for all the Android devices that Google recorded within the building during the assault, the officials said. A geofence warrant legally gives law enforcement a list of mobile devices that are able to be identified in a particular geographic area. Jill Sanborn, the head of counterterrorism at the FBI, testified before a Senate panel Wednesday that all the data the FBI had gathered in its investigation into the riot was obtained legally through subpoenas and search warrants.
I might be okay with this use of the tech, but it has also been used in the repression of nonviolent dissidents.
Although investigators have found no contact between the rioters and members of Congress during the attack, those records have shown evidence in the days leading up to Jan. 6 of communications between far-right extremists and lawmakers who were planning to appear at the rally featuring Trump that occurred just before the assault, according to one of the officials.

The Justice Department is examining those communications, but it has not opened investigations into any members, the official said. A department spokesperson declined to comment.

The FBI did, however, say Thursday that it had arrested a former State Department aide on charges related to the attack, including unlawful entry, violent and disorderly conduct, obstructing Congress and law enforcement, and assaulting an officer with a dangerous weapon.

The former midlevel aide, Federico Klein, who was seen in videos assaulting officers with a stolen riot shield, was the first member of the Trump administration to face criminal charges in connection with the storming of the Capitol. His lawyer declined to comment Friday.

Right-wing extremists, including members of the Oath Keepers, a militia group that mainly comprises former law enforcement and military personnel, have been working as security guards for Republicans and for Trump’s allies, such as Stone.

Stone, who was pardoned by Trump after refusing to cooperate with the investigation into the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russian intelligence, has known Tarrio for some time and used Oath Keepers as bodyguards before and on the day of the assault on the Capitol.

The Justice Department is looking into communications between Stone and far-right extremists to determine whether he played any role in plans by extremists to disrupt the certification on Jan. 6, according to two people familiar with the matter who were not authorized to speak about the investigation.

Should investigators find messages showing that Stone had any connection to such plans, they would have a factual basis to open a full criminal investigation into him, the people said....

The Justice Department has charged more than 300 people with crimes stemming from the Jan. 6 assault. It has used evidence gathered in its broad search for assailants — including information from cellular providers and technology companies — to help piece together evidence of more sophisticated crimes, like conspiracy.

It is also looking at possible charges of seditious conspiracy, according to two people familiar with the investigation.
Good, so far.

I don't find it so much as sad as outrageous.

Who the falk does he think he is?

What right has he to trespass into the the office of the Speaker of the House, put his dirty feet up on her desk and documents?

Equally outrageous is Mr. Qanon Shaman (aka Jake Angeli) who also trespassed and seems to think because he prevented a rioter from stealing muffins that he deserves a get out of jail free card.

Although I suppose in both cases they need to be put into mental institutions, not jails, for their own good.

Speaking of whiny shit emissions from a snowflake asshole:

A Trump appointee who was arrested after participating in the Capitol riot asked a judge if he could be transferred to a cell with no cockroaches

:wtf:
The connection between White evangelical Republicans and QAnon

The QAnon movement is still growing even after its baseless conspiracy theories are proven to be false. One group driving the movement is White evangelical Republicans. A recent study found the faction is more likely than others to believe in fanatical theories, like the "Deep State" and that there was fraud during the 2020 presidential election. Colin Clarke, director of policy and research at the Soufan Group, joined CBSN's Lana Zak to discuss the connection between the two groups.

Video Transcript

LANA ZAK: ... A recent study by the Survey Center on American life found that white evangelicals are more likely than other Republican factions to believe in conspiracies relating to the Deep State, QAnon, and that Antifa was responsible for the Capitol attack....

COLIN CLARKE: Well, in their nascent stages, there is a similar amount of extremism and radicalism amongst the most hardcore. We don't expect QAnon to ever marshal the same resources and, you know, build a caliphate on American soil. That's not what we're talking about here.

But when we talk about lone actors as part of this kind of broader ecosystem of a very extreme, you know, belief system, we've seen acts of violence, starting with Pizzagate and several other acts of violence since. And if you just look at individuals involved in the January 6 Capitol insurrection, there was hordes of QAnon supporters among that group.

LANA ZAK: So what kind of dangers could this pose as it appears that the QAnon movement continues to grow?

COLIN CLARKE: Well, historically, religious terrorist groups have been, you know, more lethal, because they believe that they're conducting attacks and carrying out their duties in service of a greater good, right? They're serving a higher power.

So as we see this blending, this infusion, of evangelical Christianity with the QAnon movement, it has the effect of kind of adding longevity or durability to this conspiracy theory. And we also have to think about countering this group. Evangelical Christianity is among the most influential sectors in our country. And so there is more of a chance that these people will be treated with kid gloves, so to speak, than actually combated in a way that we would look at other, more hardcore terrorist groups.
They ARE terrorists and should be treated exactly the same.
COLIN CLARKE: This is more about the potential, what we see going forward. As the-- we shift to a Biden administration, we're seeing a merger of QAnon folks with various other conspiracies-- anti-vaxxers, as well as, you know, very zealous anti-abortion activists. And as you know, we have a long history in this country of anti-abortion activists like Eric Robert Rudolph and others that have committed acts of terrorism in the name of anti-abortion....

A perfect headline:
Roger Stone’s Oath Keeper Bodyguard Charged by Feds in Capitol Riots

A New York tattoo artist and member of the far-right militia group the Oath Keepers who provided protection to disgraced Trump adviser Roger Stone the day of the sacking of the U.S. Capitol was arrested Saturday by the FBI for allegedly taking part in the Jan. 6 insurrection, a law enforcement official confirmed to The Daily Beast....

Minuta, who reportedly lives in New Jersey, was spotted by ABC News providing security for Stone the day of the Capitol riot. Asked for comment, Minuta’s wife told the outlet that her husband hadn’t entered the Capitol building and had not been charged with a crime.
Two lies for the coward. What a man!
As previously reported by The Daily Beast, Minuta also has ties to the far-right militia group, the Oath Keepers. Dozens of Oath Keepers have since been arrested after allegedly planning for at least two months to storm the Capitol after the 2020 election.
Good. Real oath keepers bust traitorous wannabes.
Minuta owns and operates a tattoo parlor in Newburgh (NY) called Casa Di Dolore—“House of Pain” in Italian—which made headlines in May 2020 for reopening in defiance of state lockdown orders. A crowd of supporters gathered outside Minuta’s shop the day he reopened, including a number of Oath Keepers and the group’s founder, Stewart Rhodes, who traveled to Newburgh from Texas to be there.

“Robert will be urging other NY small business owners to follow his example in a mass defiance of Cuomo’s edicts,” Rhodes wrote in a “call to action” on the Oath Keepers’ website prior to the event, asking others to be there. “You should know that Robert drove 350 miles all the way down to Richmond, VA on January 20, 2020 to stand with us and our Virginia brothers at the massive, historic open carry rally to put the Virginia tyrant, Governor Ralph ‘Blackface’ Northam on notice that We the People will NOT comply with his unconstitutional violations of our rights.”
Ah, he's one of those COVIDiot crybabies. Figures.
As The Daily Beast previously reported, Minuta has also worked security for other Trumpworld figures such as former Trump National Security Adviser Mike Flynn and far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones at so-called Stop the Steal rallies in the aftermath of the 2020 election. Minuta was identified by Citizen Lab researcher John Scott-Railton and a group of volunteers calling themselves the “Capitol Terrorists Exposers” who were the first to note Minuta’s connection to Flynn. In an interview with The Daily Beast, Scott-Railton described the relationships between organized groups such as the Oath Keepers and high-ranking members of Trump’s inner circle as “troubling.” ...
:clap: :-||
Federal authorities also over the weekend arrested Isaac Steve Sturgeon, 32, for allegedly using a metal police barrier to push into officers—before crawling under the barricade to breach the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Sturgeon, who owns a lawn care business in Dillon, Montana, was arrested Saturday afternoon at JFK Airport in New York City on several charges, including obstruction of justice, for participating in the siege....

Prosecutors allege the 32-year-old did in fact hurt law enforcement, as he was among a group of rioters who “picked up a metal police barricade and shoved” it into D.C. police officers. After pushing down officers, videos show Sturgeon crawling underneath the barrier to enter the government building....

Last Friday, FBI agents also arrested accused Capitol rioter Shane Leedon Jenkins at his home in northwest Houston. Jenkins, who allegedly threw a pole, a desk drawer, and pipe, and a flagpole at Capitol Police officers trying to guard the building on Jan. 6, was outed to the feds by a concerned citizen analyzing publicly available video footage of the pro-Trump insurrection.

In a screenshot the unnamed tipster turned over to the FBI, Jenkins—who has a distinct tattoo underneath his right eye and another spelling out “MAMA TRIED” across the front of his neck—can be seen wearing a red beanie, a blue hoodie, and black jacket as he pulls a crowbar out of his bag and smashes one of the Capitol windows. The damaged window will cost approximately $1,500 to repair, says a criminal complaint filed on Mar. 5 in D.C. federal court.

Investigators then matched the photograph with images of Jenkins posted on his Facebook and Twitter accounts, a 2014 Texas Department of Criminal Justice booking photo of Jenkins, in which both his facial and neck tattoos are clearly visible, as well as a driver’s license picture showing the same ink.

Ronnie Presley, a 42-year-old from Tennessee who was reportedly caught on video punching a Capitol window, was also arrested on Monday for this role in the riots. The Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee confirmed to The Daily Beast that Presley was taken into custody by FBI agents Friday evening in Old Hickory. It is not immediately clear what charges Presley faces, but he is expected to make his initial court appearance on Monday afternoon.

Navy investigators found contractor in Capitol riot was known as a white supremacist
A supervisor for Timothy Hale-Cusanelli told investigators she had to admonish him for sporting a “Hitler“ mustache.

A U.S. Army reservist who participated in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was widely known as a white supremacist and regularly discussed his hatred of Jews while working at a New Jersey-based naval facility, according to new evidence revealed by federal prosecutors late Friday.

The reservist, Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, who worked as a security contractor at Naval Weapons Station Earle and held a secret-level security clearance, was arrested and charged Jan. 15 for allegedly breaching the Capitol. At the time, prosecutors described him as an “avowed white supremacist” and Nazi sympathizer, a determination based in part on evidence provided by a confidential source to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and a YouTube channel in which Hale-Cusanelli expressed those views.

But Friday’s filing — a bid to keep Hale-Cusanelli in prison while awaiting trial — included newly revealed results of an extensive NCIS investigation following Hale-Cusanelli’s arrest. That investigation included interviews with 44 colleagues at NWS Earle conducted on Jan. 20 and 21.

Of those interviewed, 34 agreed Hale-Cusanelli held “extremist or radical views pertaining to the Jewish people, minorities, and women.” One contractor colleague said he discussed his dislike for Jews every day. A supervisor told investigators she had to admonish him for sporting a “Hitler“ mustache (images of which prosecutors extracted from Hale-Cusanelli’s phone).

“A Navy Petty Officer stated that Defendant talked constantly about Jewish people and remembered Defendant saying ‘Hitler should have finished the job,’” according to prosecutors’ summary of the report....

Prosecutors disclosed the NCIS investigation results in part to rebut a letter of support from one of Hale-Cusanelli’s supervisors at NWS Earle, Sgt. John Getz, submitted by defense lawyers to support Hale-Cusanelli’s release on bond. In a two-page letter, Getz told the court that he was “appalled at how [Hale-Cusanelli] was slandered in the press in regards to him being a ‘white supremacist.’"

“I have never known him to be this way. I know that our co-workers would agree,” Getz wrote, adding “Never have I seen Mr. Hale treat any of his African-American co-workers differently than anybody else, nor have I heard any distasteful jokes or language leave his mouth.”
Liar, must also be a white supremacist.
But prosecutors say Getz’ letter contradicts his own statements to NCIS investigators about Hale-Cusanelli’s conduct. Getz told NCIS that Hale-Cusanelli “would make racial jokes and wouldn’t be quiet about it.” He said he knew Hale-Cusanelli was a Nazi sympathizer and Holocaust denier but that “nothing about Hale-Cusanelli’s statements struck him as dangerous.”

Getz also recalled that Hale-Cusanelli would “walk up to new people and ask ‘You’re not Jewish, are you?’”

“He described Hale-Cussnelli’s demeanor as ‘joking but not,'” according to the summary of the report.

As a result of the contradictions — and the fact that the letter of support was undated and unsigned — NCIS investigators visited Getz on March 9, prosecutors revealed. In an interview, he acknowledged writing the letter and that it contradicted his statements to NCIS in January.
As always, white supremacists are idiots and cowards.
“Sergeant Getz stated that he did not feel compelled to include his observations of Defendant’s conduct, as reported to NCIS, in his letter to the Court,” prosecutors said. “Sergeant Getz elaborated that he wanted to ‘speak positively’ about Defendant for the bond hearing, and because he was not personally offended by Defendant’s conduct.”
Ah-ha!
... Hale-Cusanelli’s phone was packed with anti-Semitic and racist content. And they contend his views were the animating impetus behind a “fantasy of participating in another Civil War.” His discharge from the Army and debarment from work at NWS Earle as a result of his alleged actions would leave him more time to pursue those goals if released pending trial, prosecutors say.

“If nothing else,” Assistant U.S. Attorney James Nelson wrote, “the events of January 6, 2021, exposed the size and determination of right-wing fringe groups in the United States, and their willingness to place themselves and others in danger to further their political ideology.”
The most disturbing thing to me is that the Nazi felt comfortable openly sharing his views knowing that there would be no Army Reserves or Naval Weapons Station Earle consequences, and there weren't any until the bust for treason at the Capitol. How many more just like him?

This country seriously needs to get a better crop of seditionist if we're going to have any success.

2 Men Charged In Capitol Riot Recorded Bonkers Boasts They Crashed The White House
 Better seditionists would also have a fact-based reason for sedition, not Dolt .45's lies.
2 charged in assault of Capitol officer who died after riot

U.S. officials have arrested and charged two men with assaulting U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick with bear spray during the Jan. 6 riot, but they do not know yet whether it caused the officer’s death.

George Tanios, 39, of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Julian Khater, 32, of Pennsylvania, were arrested Sunday. They were expected to appear in federal court Monday.

The idea that Sicknick died after being sprayed by a chemical irritant has emerged in recent weeks as a new theory in the case.

Investigators initially believed that Sicknick was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher, based on statements collected early in the investigation, according to two people familiar with the case. But as they’ve collected more evidence, the theory of the case has evolved and investigators now believe Sicknick may have ingested a chemical substance — possibly bear spray — that may have contributed to his death, officials have said....
Not that I have an ounce of sympathy for Tanios and Khater, but if it was bear spray can the LEOs get past the facts that they claim it's "non-lethal", use it on citizens by the tanker load and massively deployed it themselves at the Capitol?

I can't see why there is a controversy over this man's death. Does DC have an incompetent medical examiner, coroner, forensics experts? I don't get it. This should not be any sort of mystery but it apparently is. I expect my death certificate will show I died of either too much fun, too long a time of having fun, broken heart, or suicide.

In some instances toxicology and its interpretation can take awhile. Fatal TBI from a fire extinguisher strike is much more straightforward.

This is heartbreaking.
You literally nailed what it was as it was happening.
DOJ official says there is evidence to charge sedition in U.S. Capitol assault: '60 Minutes'

Federal investigators have found evidence that would likely allow the government to file sedition charges against some of those involved in the deadly Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol, a Justice Department official told CBS' "60 Minutes" on Sunday.

"I believe the facts do support those charges," said acting U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin for the District of Columbia. "I think that, as we go forward, more facts will support that."

Hundreds of supporters of then-President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol in a failed bid to stop Congress from certifying Democrat Joe Biden’s presidential election victory, sending lawmakers fleeing and leaving five dead.

The Justice Department has already filed cases against 400 suspects involved in the assault, but none have yet been accused of sedition, the crime of opposing the authority of the U.S. government through force.

Since announcing a task force to investigate the rioters six days after the attack, Sherwin has said he will pursue sedition charges. So far, most arrested in connection with the riot have been charged with trespassing or assaulting officers, with a smaller number charged with conspiracy to obstruct Congress.

I sure would like to see Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz in jail. Even better, would be to see them in jail after they've both spent millions of dollars trying to buy innocence. Josh's wife, as well as Heidi, would be forced to wear clown clothes for ten years and cry rivers of remorse over it all.

A police detective filed for divorce from his wife after she was photographed with another man at the Capitol riot

... Jennifer Heinl - the wife of Detective Michael Heinl of Pennsylvania's Shaler Township Police Department and part of the FBI Pittsburgh office's violent crimes task force - is accused of taking part in the January 6 insurrection.

Jennifer Heinl was charged with several crimes after the riot, including disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, court documents show.

The FBI said in court documents filed on Wednesday that it identified Heinl through her association with a man identified as Kenneth Grayson and shared a photo of the two together that it said was obtained from Grayson's iPad....

... The FBI said Jennifer Heinl was seen on restricted Capitol grounds and inside the Capitol rotunda while wearing a red long-sleeve jersey bearing "Trump 20" on the back. It reviewed security-camera footage and police-body-camera footage, court documents show.

The FBI said that it also looked at Facebook Messenger exchanges between Heinl and Greyson, where they discussed their plans to travel to Washington, DC, including renting a vehicle and a hotel.

Heinl later told the FBI that she did not enter the Capitol.

But the FBI said that its evidence shows "there is probable cause to believe that Heinl was present inside the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, during the riot and related offenses that occurred at the US Capitol Building." ...
