This year? Jeffs is predicting the same demise, only this time compliments of the geysers at Yellowstone National Park. Once they blow their tops, it’s the end for all humankind.
“By December 23rd, [the world is] going to have ended,” former FLDS member Isaac Wyler, who has seen the revelation, told KUTV in Salt Lake City. Jeffs told his followers to prepare grey or blue backpacks, of a certain size, and pack them with essentials to be ready to go when God calls them, Wyler said.
wonder if mittens is gonna go grey or blue

Dude, that sounds as if you're channeling Placebo ... cool! I've often attempted to be as witty and insightful as Placebo but I too often fail ... you nailed it, Vrede.
Now, where is my backpack? I'm picking out a green one ... I like green ...

Well, at least the Mayans know how Harold Camping feels.
God only takes you if you have the right backpack?
Why do you need to take anything with you to heaven?

Backpacks......
I guess if you can be convinced to believe something with no evidence, taking a back pack isn't that big of a step.

Blush....gee, thanks Mike. But on the other hand, Vrede is quite clever himself. It would seem I am doomed, as the only backpack I have is a leather one that I got free for smoking a bunch of Marlboro cigarettes years ago.mike wrote:Dude, that sounds as if you're channeling Placebo ... cool! Shit it's the 28th and I just read this thread. If I had known I could have prepared by backpack with a few juice-boxes and PB&Js for my ascent to heaven. Damnit.
But then again I can't be in Hell since this is a Friday, a long weekend is approaching, and payday is imminent.
Confusion.

You aren't doing it wrong if no one knows what you are doing.
