I always wondered what those people that got free sandbags did with them after the flooding. Seems keeping them in place might be a good idea.
Always wondered also what all those people in Home Depot buying plywood did with their window coverings they had the last hurricane(s). We had one set. Stored in the garage, with attachment screws. Hurricane/storm warning and they'd be up in less than a half hour.

Yeah, last minute hurricane preppers make good local news. Do you imagine that they are also surprised every morning at 7 when the realization of work by 8 strikes from out of the blue?

Hey everybody, we have left the insanity of living under threat from fire, flood and earthquake. Life now is all peaceful and tranquil. Our beach house sits right on the quiet shores of the Gulf of Mexico. Bye.

I don't understand the water and MREs. It's too easy to be prepared.
