I've spent the last few weeks reading slowly through a biography of our third president, Thomas Jefferson.
I've always been fascinated by his signature dwelling, Monticello. As I am nearing the end of the bio, I decided to look for some video tours of Monticello. I found this one, which sheds light not on the iconic first floor rooms where Jefferson presented his public image, but on the second and third floors, which may have been more functional.
At some point during my life I'd love to visit Monticello to see the genius creation of this complex icon of our early nationhood.

Re: Monticello
A shorter video that describes the "optical illusion" of the rear of Monticello, which hides the fact that the building houses three floors, behind elongated windows.
