Because I am cheap, I don't ever foresee myself buying a brand new car. Too expensive for me. The "newest" car I've ever bought is one that is four years old.bannination wrote:

That's good to see. Materials sciences are making things last longer. Cars don't rust out the way they used to.
Furnishings seems to be an exception. I expect this is because of cheap flat-pack particle-board furniture replacing solid wood furniture in recent decades.
