I went 2 for 4 in 2nd round games today. One loss was to a 10 seed, so no great damage. One win was an upset by a 6 seed, nice.

I accidentally have this 6-seed, Blue Collar U (Buffalo), losing in the Championship game. I can't win one of the 3 prizes, but could have a very respectable final showing.

I lost the 2nd game, but not much ground since it was a 5 > 1. The #5 came back from an 18-point deficit!

This probably improves the chances of #6 Blue Collar U (Buffalo) winning the next game.

The biggest difference is the Elam Ending, a scheme that makes endgames way less annoying without sacrificing any drama.

Not up to NBA or even Div 1 college standards, but good enough for ESPN. Thanks to getting roped in then ditched by billy.pilgrim when the (5) Auburn alum team got crushed by a 12-seed in the 1st round, I am indeed just having fun with myself. I keep track here because it's just as easy as keeping track on my own. I submitted a bracket. No way can I win anything, but I can still keep score. billy.pilgrim did not submit a bracket and he may still be too depressed to face the TBT.

I generally consider low or no stakes gambling to be more entertaining than all but the last few minutes of basketball games. If not for the bracket I wouldn't be paying any attention at all. There never was a MD or WA team, and the OR team got knocked out, as did the only NC team and I'm not much of an NC St fan, anyhow. There are/were several IL teams and one of the regionals is being played there.

4 quarterfinals today, 8 points each, but I had no chance of winning 2 of them going in. So, my best hope for the least damage was that the lower seeds would win. (5) > (2) and (3) > (1).
In another game (6) Team 23 > (1) Sideline Cancer. I picked Sideline Cancer to lose in the semi, but few would have picked a 6 seed.
In the last game (6) Blue Collar U (Buffalo) > (5) The Money Team. Nice, I accidentally picked Blue Collar U to lose in the final.
