This is great news, if true. And if not true, it's still a great concept.....that, by their own actions, they ensure their inability to reproduce. An 85% reduction in wingnuts and nutjobs would go a long way.

Stern's longtime co-host, Robin Quivers, chimed in, saying she has "trouble drumming up compassion" for "people that stupid."

"Me too," Stern agreed.

"Where do I have that clip of that Marc Bernier, the guy who died?" Stern asked, referring to the right-wing radio host who called himself "Mr. Anti-Vax."

"Yeah, he's dead," Stern said. "He no longer walks."

NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio threatens to withhold the paychecks of NYPD officers and other city workers who refuse weekly COVID-19 testing

... Under a mandate enacted by de Blasio, all city workers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or be tested for the disease weekly. The mandate goes into full effect on Monday, impacting about 340,000 city workers across various sectors.

"If someone, again, does not follow that mandate, that's true, eventually, they're not going to be paid, obviously," de Blasio said in a press conference on Thursday.

As of this week, 53% of NYPD employees have received one dose of the vaccine, compared to about 79% of adults in New York City, according to data obtained by the Gothamist from the NYC department of health. Approximately 71% of adults in New York City are fully vaccinated. The NYPD has among the lowest vaccination rates of any city agency, the New York Times previously reported.

... Last month, when Mayor Lori Lightfoot of Chicago said there would “absolutely” be a vaccine mandate for city employees, the local police union promised legal action.

“It cannot be mandated. It’s that simple. Our members don’t want to be mandated to do anything like that,” said the union president, John Catanzara. “This vaccine has no studies for long-term side effects or consequences. None. To mandate anybody to get that vaccine, without that data as a baseline, amongst other issues, is a ‘Hell, no’ for us.”

Catanzara also likened the vaccine mandates to the Holocaust, saying, “We’re in America, g*ddamn it. We don’t want to be forced to do anything. Period. This ain’t Nazi f***ing Germany, [where they say], ‘Step into the f***ing showers. The pills won’t hurt you.’ What the f***?”

Catanzara’s opposition to mandates is indicative of a larger trend across the nation’s law enforcement organizations. Meanwhile, three times more officers died of COVID-19 in 2020 than in firearm-related incidents, according to tracking from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. The National Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) stated that 644 officers have died from the virus as of Sept. 10, but noted that “not all” of the deaths “have been verified.”

“We are a union, and we will defend our members,” FOP executive director Jim Pasco told Axios last month. “You cannot tell people what to do. It’s still an individual and personal choice.”

Colorado radio host who urged boycott of vaccines dies of Covid-19

Bob Enyart, a rightwing talk radio host in Colorado who urged people to boycott vaccines for Covid-19, has died of Covid-19.

Enyart’s death was reported two weeks after the Denver Bible church said he and his wife had been taken to hospital.

“Pastor Bob and Cheryl are in … good hands and improving daily,” the church said then. “We anticipate and pray for a full recovery. We both grieve and rejoice together during this challenging time.”

Opps, prayer fail.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Enyart’s co-host, Fred Williams, said: “It comes with an extremely heavy heart that my close friend and co-host of Real Science Radio has lost his battle with Covid.

“Bob Enyart was one of the smartest, and without question the wisest person I’ve known. All the while being exceedingly kind and humble, and always, always willing to listen and discuss anything you wanted.

“Heaven’s gain has left an enormous hole here on earth.”

In contrast, the Denver Post reported that Enyart was a practiced and brutal provocateur who once used a show on cable television to mock by name people who died of Aids.

According to a 1999 profile by Westword, Enyart “gleefully read obituaries of Aids sufferers while cranking Another One Bites the Dust by Queen”.

Enyart also called for women who had abortions to face the death penalty.

Sounds like he was an enormous asshole here on earth and it may not be Heaven that gained.

Regarding Covid-19 vaccines, Enyart said people should boycott the shots “because …they tested these three products on the cells of aborted babies”.
