Seahawks? I'm annoyed that he was a COVIDiot, but I don't hate him.
I think the 'Hawks passed. Why would they want Cam when they have the guy that made the Jets a championship team. Oh wait. :roll:
:D

In case y'all missed the memo like I did, the Dolphins and Jaguars are currently live from London and in the 4th quarter on CBS. 20-17 Miami.

Go Dolphins.

Why? :D

Go:

@Chicago > Green Bay.
@Washington vs Kansas City. Can they both lose? TV here :roll: .
@Detroit (0-5) > Cincinnati. They're due.
@Baltimore > LA Traitors.
@Carolina > Minnesota. TV here.
@New England vs Dallas. Can they both lose? TV here :roll: .
Seattle > @Pittsburgh. 8:20 PM ET. I finally root for visitors, not counting the nominally "visiting" Miami.
Buffalo > @Tennessee. Monday night.

Good call and execution by the Jags at the end. Maybe Urban can keep his job another week.

Go Dolphins.
Kicker Matthew Wright, 2nd game for the Jags. He missed a FG and 1 of 2 EPs vs Tennessee.
The winless Jags have scored 0 FGs this season.
First Quarter: 40 yard field goal.
Second and Third Quarters: 2 made EPs.
Fourth Quarter:
3:40 - 54 yard field goal with a huge hook to tie 20-20. Lifetime long.
Walkoff - 53 yard field goal to win.

I don't hate that kind of fairy tale ending, even if Urban danced a little. ;)

@Baltimore > LA Traitors. Crushed 'em, 34-6.
@Carolina > Minnesota. TV here. Ugly, except for 4th down plays on the desperation drive. OT!
Or not, Carolina D is too loose, but Minnesota misses a walkoff 47 yd FG try. :thumbup:
Edit: Carolina D collapses during the 1st OT series, Minnesota 34-28. :(

Ugly wins count the same as pretty wins.

Justin took a bit of a beating, hopefully he learns from that.
As do ugly losses. 1 INT, 4 sacks for 37 yds. Learning?

Ouch, that's not very polite. :P

Fuck Aaron Rodgers. With any luck we won't be seeing him in Chicago any time soon.
Yahoo Sports

The Bears led 7-0 after a Khalil Herbert TD run. Herbert stepped up with David Montgomery and Damien Williams injured, rushing 19 times for 97 yards, plus two catches for 15 yards. He had what looked like a second rushing TD that was called back by penalty.

It appeared to be a bad call against Chicago. The Bears also were held back by an earlier offsides call that appeared to be missed, leading to a Justin Fields interception in the first half.
Thanks Refs.

Cam's still got some play left, if he gets vaccinated, but he's not cut out to start fading gradually as a mentoring back-up. So he'll probably leave a few years on the table if he can't start.

Not all of the 'Hawks misery was Geno's fault, but man, he left some points on the field. Losing it from the 3, not taking advantage of the 4th qtr fumble, and then his own fumble in OT. Pretty much the Geno the Jets knew and loved.

Speaking of shared blame:
Patrick Mahomes' mom calls for NFL to change interception rules

The scenario felt familiar enough. Up 7-3 and driving, the Chiefs appeared poised to find the next gear and leave the Washington Football Team in the rear-view for good. Deep in WFT territory, Mahomes took the snap, rolled to the right and spotted Tyreek Hill just a few yards short of the end zone. Mahomes fired, Hill reached out ... this was going to end in yet another KC TD, right?

Wrong. The ball ticked off Hill's yellow gloves and right into the hands of Washington's Kendall Fuller. For the seventh time this season, an INT went on Mahomes' ledger, more than all of 2020.

That didn't sit so well with one very interested onlooker:

...
:lol: Worse than being intercepted is public excuse making by one's mommy.
If you want to get picky about it, what about yardage going to the QB on a pass? The QB should get the yards the ball is in the air, the receiver yards after the catch.
I wonder what "mom" would say about a defensive back tipping a ball and it ends up in Hill or Kelce's hands for a "TD Pass".....or should that be a fumble also?
I'm sure the 800 billion contract he signed will help him sleep at night.
I agree with her 100%.

Any time one of her son's passes is intercepted or dropped, he should get a do-over.

Because he's special.
Fine, then don't count the touchdowns that come from a great catch but lousy throw.

Probably the safe and right thing to do, but it appears the hullabaloo around rolling Seahowk Darrel Taylor out was a bit of an over-reaction. Fortunately, he has no neck injury at all except probably some really sore muscles; his shoulder may have taken the worst of the hit, and he may - may - be back next week.

Bulletin board material.

Guess he forgot the Bears owned him last year.

I hope Khalil breaks his leg.

A little harsh? Sounds to me like he was laughing at Rodgers, not claiming Bears ownership himself or otherwise boasting at the Bears' expense. He didn't even rise to the bait to dis the Bills and Jets.

Hmmm....

Mostly the internet gods are not agreeing with you. Or maybe there's a lot of butthurt Bears fans out there.

I guess I can see that, but I still take it as mildly mocking Rodgers more than the Bears. After all, Rodgers said what he said, can't unring that bell. It's not like Brady bragged about being 5-1 vs the Bears. :P

Tampa Bay is favored by 10. Only Detroit and Houston are bigger underdogs.

Ouch.

Speaking of spreads, found this:

Justin Fields, Tom Brady will set new NFL record for largest age gap between starting QBs

If I was going to guess which team would fuck up ESPN and the NFL, it would have been Washington.
