Finally, I found the war on Christmas

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Or would anyone who read the article with an attempt to see if it had anything to say. It's not just a minor grammatical glitch. And it goes along with the author's lack of understanding in why there's a problem for a member of Congress to use his/her franking privilege to send religious-based "greetings" to constituents on the same mailing list they use for begging for money or sending propaganda, as compared to a person (regardless of his/her occupation) sending actual personal greetings to friends and family. The person who doesn't see the difference and doesn't understand the difference in "establish" and "govern" can safely be ignored, ridiculed, or shunned from the next neighborhood meeting of the literate.

That's the nicest thing you've ever said about liberals, Seth Milner - that they are more attentive and know both religion and the Constitution better than you do. I agree.

I've said before that I don't know enough about religion to debate it; and a misplaced word hardly disqualifies me from knowing the Constitution. The only thing you're attentive about is when someone makes a mistake so you can run them in the ground over and over. That's called narcissism:

Saw my first Christmas ad on TV today, Mercedes effin Benz.

Let's get this war rolling, I can't take seven more weeks of that shit.

And Christmas stuff popping up in stores already. "Black Friday" sales too.
But at least they're not political ads.

I think it was August when I saw my first one. The xmas movies have been all over the TV since early Oct or sooner. Then, there are all the stories about gift shortages due to the pandemic. Probably legit, but a little cynical voice has me wondering if it's just a scam to get people shopping early.

Sigh. Well, I guess there's just no use for my mistletoe belt during a war on Christmas. It may even be hazardous to wear it this year at all.

Is that the source of your superpowers?

 Let's just call it a method of creative enhancement of an old Christmas tradition.

That sounds a bit like superpower potential to me. When I was younger and enhanced I became bulletproof.

Aha, 'spinach' was just a sanitizing of the Popeye myth for the kiddies. I'll never picture Olive Oyl the same way again. :o
