We have #22 UCON coming up next Wednesday.

Coulda, shoulda, but didn't. It was damn close.

I was hoping for Baylor. Oh well, we went on to beat that sweet little old lady's team.

I think we get Syracuse today.

Ouch, close though. UConn lost to unranked Michigan St the next night. Not sure what the 2 games will do to its ranking.

I was hoping for Baylor.

In order to beat god?

God will get you for that.

Congrats.
You were ranked #19, will probably tumble. Unbeaten Mickey Mouse is next on Wed, then a bunch of lame teams until the SEC season starts.

I'll bet it was!
Fri, Nov 26: @(5) Duke 7-0 > (1) Gonzaga now 6-1 84-81. Duke may even be #1 in the next ranking. Good on both of them for scheduling so tough.
It's too early in the season for me to pay close attention.

Isn't this Coach K's last year? It would be cool for him to leave with another championship.

Yep, 74 and this is his 42nd and final Duke season. I wonder if he's coached any grandfather-grandson duos?
Michael William Krzyzewski (/ʃɪˈʒɛfski/ shih-ZHEF-skee; nicknamed "Coach K"; born February 13, 1947) is an American basketball coach. He has served as the head men's basketball coach at Duke University since 1980, where he led the Blue Devils to five NCAA Division I titles, 12 Final Fours, 15 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament championships, and 12 ACC regular season titles. Among men's college basketball coaches, only UCLA's John Wooden has won more NCAA championships with a total of 10. He is widely regarded as one of the best college basketball coaches of all time....

I reckon she sees something in Auburn that you can't see.

I was just playing off your "big game" joke. Obviously, it's a source of pride if the best in the world chooses to attend your alma mater.

Arguably a slap on the wrist, but I have not followed the news closely enough to have an opinion on whether the punishment is appropriate or not:

Auburn coach Bruce Pearl issued 2-game suspension as part of NCAA penalties

What do you think?

They basically accepted Auburn's self-punishment.

I'm really not in favor of punishing a school for something one coach did in secret, but I guess more aggressive instruction to players and family could have prevented this.

Still, it was only a couple of thousand bucks paid against the rules, but the rules allow families of players (zion) to earn houses, cars and cash and the bammer player investigated at the same time took tens of thousands from the same person, but nothing was done.
A thousand dollars to a 1and done kid is a stupid move by a kid who will earn millions in a few months and a ticky tacky move by an NCAA that ignores the big money flowing to kids and parents in the AAU leagues.

But all that is changing.

I haven't seen the pictures, but I hear that Zion has gone skinny.

Maybe had to for recovery purposes:

New Orleans Pelicans' Zion Williamson suffers setback in recovery from foot surgery

I hope he gets past all this. It's a shame to see him go from so much potential to just another good injury-plagued player.

Who's the scheduling genius that thought it was a good idea to send App State to Duke? Hopefully App State got paid a lot.
