In Memoriam

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

He stupidly posts while the very existence of the post negates "ignored".
Curious.

How can one respond to a post that is claimed to be ignored?

Wouldn't the proper ignored response be no response at all?

Anne Rice, author of gothic novels, dead at 80

... Anne Rice was the author of the 1976 novel “Interview with the Vampire,” which was later adapted into a movie starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt in 1994. It was also expected to be portrayed in a TV series on AMC and AMC+ in 2022.
Also Kirsten Dunst in her breakout role at 10 years old. I still remember the scene where she tries to cut her hair. Brilliant.
Rice was expected to be interred during a private ceremony at a family mausoleum in New Orleans on an undisclosed date, according to the statement....
After her head is cut off and she's cremated.

"Rice's books have sold over 150 million copies, making her one of the most popular and best-selling authors of all-time."

I went through a phase where I read all or almost all of her vampire/witch/mummy books. She was a good storyteller. RIP . . . or whatever.

What GoCucksGo fails to comprehend is that I can tell if someone has replied to one of my posts without reading that post. That's because I put the sender on my Foes list. All I can see is that they responded, not what they responded with. Hence I view it as a courtesy to the Foe to let them know that their post in response to my post has been in vain.

1) I haven't had a drink at a bar in years now.

2) If I were to see someone sprawled out on the floor in his best Neoplasm emulation mode, I most certainly would not want whatever put him in that state.

3) I am a cheap drunk and I aim to keep it that way.

Fiat once considered naming one of its cars "Capiche" but wiser heads began saying "what the fuck?" and they sort of forgot about it.

OIC.

I vaguely remember JJ's nipple. Didn't it have some sort of pin on it? If so that might have covered up the interesting part. But I'm glad the pin wasn't forcibly removed; that would have been very bad.

Nothing was covered; there was no pin; It was there in all it's glorious, unadulterated, nakidicity.
Just for a brief, fleeting moment; but the shiny, stiff little booger was there.
You won't find a pic or video that hasn't suppressed the raw event.
That's why the photo you posted brought back memories of the moment. :D :toothy:

???

Pics are easy to find, and Janet Jackson was wearing a nipple shield that did not actually shield her nipple from view.

Image
Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show controversy

... The incident also made Janet Jackson the most-searched person and term of 2004 and 2005. The incident broke the record for "most-searched event over one day". It became the most-watched, recorded and replayed television moment in TiVo history and "enticed an estimated 35,000 new [TiVo] subscribers to sign up". The term "wardrobe malfunction" was coined as a result of the incident, and was eventually added to the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary....
Now, can anyone name the song they were singing? :D
Spoiler:
The Timberlake song "Rock Your Body". Final line: "Gonna have you naked by the end of this song".

I saw the event . . . and the nipple.
The nip shield was added to the photo after the fact to protect the innocent. :D
There's a few more out there with blurred images.
