Sheesh, South Carolina up 15-0 . . . in the first 6 minutes! :angry-banghead:

Say, BBC is running a Doctor Who marathon.

Yup, South Carolina 38-21. Remember when 6-7 North Carolina was Top Ten early in the season?

Just nuts! 29 points scored in just 3:05 of the 4th quarter. Tennessee just missed a long walkoff TD, 45-45, OT.

Edit: Tennessee twice went for it on 4th down rather than kick a FG, made it once not the 2nd time, very controversially. Purdue didn't fart around, 3 safe runs, kicked a 38 yard FG for the win. Sorry, neoplacebo, if you care.

1290 total yards of offense, over 400 in the 4th!

Yeah, wasn't that back when covid was supposed to be over by April? Probably the same guys who told billy.p that his van would be delivered in two weeks and predicted that Trump would be in jail by now.

What a strange day and time to schedule the CFP games.

A lot of people hate having their New Years Eve partying conflicted with. Big games should be reserved for New Years Day hangovers.

MSU came back and scored the game winning TD with 2:51 left. Pitt drove almost within range of an OT-forcing FG, 70+ yard pick 6. :puke-left:

0-3 on the day. College football sucks.

O Really wrote: Fri Dec 24, 2021 12:07 am Upon further review, I'm kinda hoping for a Rutgers win. I've got nothing particular against WF, but it would just be fun to ridicule the team "ranking" system.
 Plus, it would be a loss for the historically Baptist.

GO:

11:00 AM EST On ESPN
Rutgers (COVID replacement team) 5-7 > 17 point favorite Wake Forest (17) 10-3. It's Miracle on Grass time.

12:00 PM EST On CBS
7 point favorite Washington St 7-5 > Cent Michigan (COVID replacement team) 8-4. I don't really care, but it would be satisfying to see Washington St win without its fired antivax COVIDiot coach.

3:30 PM EST On ESPN
Cincinnati (4) 13-0 > 13.5 point favorite Alabama (1) 12-1. Cinderella Cincinnati (Cindy Cincy?) to win it all. Group of Five rules!

Vrede too wrote: Sun Dec 01, 2019 1:34 amNote: "Group of Five" is a stupid name. At least "Power Five" says something.

7:30 PM EST On ESPN
7.5 point favorite Georgia (3) 12-1 > Michigan (2) 12-1.

Sure would've been nice if Michigan had decided to show up.

I just want a fun game, but it's looking like 0 for 2.

Yay

, 1-3 for the day, <holding nose> go Georgia > Alabama.

Good match-ups today, small spreads.

1:00 PM EST On ESPN

Dammit.

Iowa had the game won, then its D collapsed to allow a Kentucky drive and TD with 1:54 left. Millions of bettors are disappointed by the push.

Notre Dame led 28-7, lost by just 2.

:angry-banghead: :angry-banghead: , but you gotta be impressed with Vegas' prescience.

It's a shootout, which happens, and Utah is leading 28-21  with 8 left in the 2nd, but this one is remarkable for Ohio St's C.J. Stroud tossing 3 TDs in 3 straight passes - 25, 50 and 52 yards!

Edit: 35-21 after a 62 yard Utah run on a 4th & 1 play with 6:24 left in the 2nd

. Oh well, time for C.J. Stroud to throw another pass.
Edit: 4th pass attempt 49 yard gain for nearly a TD, fumbled into the end zone, touchback for Utah. :angry-banghead:

Wow! 1st half - Utah, 2nd half - Ohio St.
Ohio St walkoff FG, 48-45!

Doh, I forgot that it's the Mississippi Rebels. Talk about team names that should be banned! Fuck it, no preference and I'll watch something else.
