I don't know who the "slugs" would be with regard to SF-Dallas. I think everybody here wanted the Cowboys to lose for one reason or another, and, as noted, we'll all be 'Niner fans next week against Green Bay -and probably disappointed at the end of that day, but still. Might someone seek an adversarial situation where none exists?

There's nothing more frustrating than premature trash talk ejaculation and no, it doesn't happen to everyone. Useless looks as weak and petulant as Cowboys fans hurling garbage onto the field after the game was over. Maybe he should find a Kaaron Bay or Dallas forum to rant on . . . if he dares.

Arizona vs @LA Rams. Go football. Visitors won both games this year. :headscratch:
L.A. Rams favored by 4.
L.A. Rams now favored by 3.5. I went 2-3 for the weekend.

Odds To Win Super Bowl 56 (2/13/22)
The Bills moved up to a #2 tie. The Bengals jumped past the Cowboys (barely) and Cardinals.

1. Green Bay Packers
2. Buffalo Bills
2. Kansas City Chiefs
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
4. Tennessee Titans
6. Los Angeles Rams
7. Cincinnati Bengals
8. Dallas Cowboys
9. Arizona Cardinals
10. San Francisco 49ers
11. Philadelphia Eagles
12. Pittsburgh Steelers
Revised:

1. Green Bay Packers :puke-left:
2. Kansas City Chiefs, now slightly ahead of Buffalo :puke-left:
3. Buffalo Bills
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
5. Tennessee Titans
6. San Francisco 49ers
7. Los Angeles Rams  , just slightly ahead of Cincinnati
8. Cincinnati Bengals
9. Arizona Cardinals

Rams or Cardinals could move up after tonight, especially if one stomps the other. The spreads are tighter for the next round than they were for the Wildcard round.

GO:

Cincinnati 10-7, 1st AFC North > 3.5 point favorite @Tennessee, 1st AFC South.
San Francisco 10-7, 3rd NFC West > 5.5 point favorite @Kaaron Bay 13-4, 1st NFC North
Either Rams or Cardinals > likely favorite @Brady Bay Buccaneers 13-4
Buffalo 11-6, 1st AFC East > 2 point favorite @Kansas City 12-5, 1st AFC West. Stifle that obnoxious chant.

Damn, now I'm rooting for all visitors/underdogs. Ut-oh. Will there be a team left that I like in the Conference Championships? Oh well, anybody but Kaaron Bay and Kansas City, the two favorites to be in the SB. :angry-banghead:

I don't have a problem with KC, but I really really don't want to see Kaaron Bay win it. Interesting how little things matter. Probably before Kaaron turned into (exposed himself to be) an anti-vaxxing drooler, I'd have been happy for GB to be in contention. It may not be reasonable to let one player cloud over decades of tradition in one season, but Kaaron managed to do it. Even took Snyder quite a few years to totally ruin my view of the team formerly known as 'Skins. Maybe if the Packers management had come down hard on Kaaron....but of course that wasn't going to happen. Or even if the League had had a backbone...naaa, that only comes out for the occasional black guy getting a DUI.
Anyway, Go: Bucs, Rams, Bills, ABP.

People react strongly to menaces to public health, and should.

Kaaron Bay is the #1 NFC seed and the SB favorite. I'm not griping about it, but it's funny that the #1 AFC seed, TN, is thought to be only the 3rd most likely AFC team to win the SB after KC and the Bills. Doesn't say much for the AFC South, does it? TN has some quality wins - Buffalo, KC, LAR, SF - but it's also lost to the Jets and Houston (1 of 2).

There's an X factor with Tennishoe, that being Derrick Henry who's supposed to be be back. If he's himself, the Titans are instantly formidable.

The Mannings have to save something for next year.

That said, your Bears killed a Lion, felled by a Dick Butkus glance.

Chuck Hughes’ death 50 years ago is NFL tragedy we pray to never see again

Other offensive players just wanted to die.

Can't really blame the Bears for that one, though Butkus was an assassin.

Larry Fitzgerald reacts to OBJ's TD catch vs. Cardinals

Highlights: Rams WR Odell Beckham Jr. finds RB Cam Akers DEEP for 40-yard trick play vs. Cardinals in Wild Card matchup (video)
Odell Beckham Jr. made playoff history, also earned $500K in win vs. Cardinals

... According to ESPN Stats and Info, Beckham is the first player in league history with a 30-yard catch and a 30-yard pass in the same playoff game. He had a 31-yard catch from Matthew Stafford and threw a 40-yard bomb to Cam Akers, doing it all for the Rams.

As for his $500,000, he earned that not by putting up big numbers against the Cardinals, but by the Rams winning. When he signed with Los Angeles, he took an incentive-heavy deal that was loaded with money tied to the Rams’ postseason success.

Well, with a win over the Cardinals, he hit a $500,000 bonus and can earn another $750,000 with a victory against the Buccaneers next weekend....

Tampa Bay is favored by 3 early. Go Rams!

Vegas now thinks that the Rams are more likely than the Titans to win it all.
