Education thread

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

It was a private academy that was alleged to have connection to an obscure religious sect whose members banned the eating of fish, pork, beef, and chicken. The poor bastards had to eat cats and dogs and squirrels. And the class was slam full of future street walkers and night crawlers. I was lucky to get out of there with my wallet.
And here I was going to ask if you were well compensated for sharing your special knowledge.

Well, I set those little fellows straight on how to take those "fill in the circle" multiple choice standardized tests. I shared with them the genius idea of filling in ALL the circles for each question. That way when the teacher places the key over the tests, everybody in the class got all questions right.

From a BuzzFeed article on the weirdest things teachers have confiscated in their classrooms:

25."I had to confiscate a sea bass from a student who had brought it in to use in the playground at break time. He was walking around slapping people in the face with it and challenging them to a duel."

We probably know who that might have been.

This explains a lot. Especially how a certain individual never finished junior high.

Hilarious. You explain a lot every time you post. My typing cat wants me to ask you why you're still here? He's getting fed up with gibberish. I read your drivel to him and he just writhes on the floor and growls. It's a pitiful sight.

Does the right to sue apply only to white people? I'd guess there are quite a few black and brown kids whose teachers have made them "uncomfortable." Run away, billy.p, run away!

I'm sure there are "Exceptions", but really, when have white people ever made anyone feel uncomfortable?

Other than that time in 2024 when DeSantis became president.

The lunacy emanating from the state legislature in Nashville is truly something to behold. But at least we have some sensible folks attempting to raise the alarm. The governor and the supermajority GOP legislature are striving to make TN kids as fucking stupid as they are. Stomping emoji.

Good luck. Chattanooga public middle school, not too far from you (or me) and not some hick rural county:

A screenshot of an animated class video that a mom says appears to show a forked road with Christianity on one side represented by light and color, and a dark, shadowy path on the other.

Well, why don't you just up and move to a more enlightened state?

1. Because I'm already enlightened.
2. Because dumbfuckery isn't exclusive to TN and has been on the increase for the past decade nationwide.
3. I'd rather be in a car wreck than move.

That could be arranged, but it would be wrong.

Dreamers, an hour or a lifetime whiny Useless' reading comprehension will never improve. Neither will his inability to admit having fucked up.
