Mackey is the latest in a line of wealthy republican CEOs who have attempted to harm the President by making false claims regarding ObamaCare, which simply requires corporations of a certain size to allow all of its full time employees to pay for health care coverage, and does not involve any financial impact on the corporations themselves.

Whole Foods just lost my business. Moron. If you are going to take a stand, at least be honest about it.

Yep sorry, just try as Vrede said. It's something that's done host wide to prevent generic spam. (We're hosting on shared hosting.)Boatrocker wrote:Forbidden

Don't shop there much- too expensive and hoity-toity for me- but you would think the CEO should know his customers a little better than Mackey seems to. He comes across as surprised that they don't care to have him piss in their faces. Does anyone really imagine that the grease, sugar and everything-fried crowd does much victual buying in there? I don't think so.Mackey may have created an even bigger mess for himself, as Whole Foods customers often tend to be health conscious liberals who may be particularly quick to abandon the grocery chain…

Amen. Everyone I know who shops at Whole Foods - or should I say Used to shop at Whole Foods - are liberal tree hugging Obama supporters. No one else can afford the place. He made a big mistake crapping on his customer base.Boatrocker wrote:Don't shop there much- too expensive and hoity-toity for me- but you would think the CEO should know his customers a little better than Mackey seems to. The Whole Foods dude came under fire when "Obamacare" was in the early discussion stage.
Don't care for the chain; I'll trust our local co-op and my own ability to shop smartly at Ingles before I'll trust a corporation that cares more about lobsters than people.
