Re: The Food Thread
Um, nice try boyz.
I noticed the typo when I added another block entry. And fixed it.
And as you well know, when someone quotes YKW, I cannot avoid seeing it. I can however, excise his drivel from my reponses. It just feels more right without his perseveration mucking up my replies.
Next up: in order to avoid running out of space, I'll be averaging the past week, and then appending tomorrow's blocking.
All is well in block YKW land.

Awww., Useless. So much for "Ignored". You fail again. Plus, Useless, you've been busted too many times for anyone to believe you're not reading my posts, anyhow. It's just your excuse for cowering. Awww.
Point proved, again.

Yes, but I only have a bachelor's degree in blocking YKW. Couldn't afford graduate school, you see.

Listen up, shitheads. Wait, that's a different thread. But here's what; I'm getting ready to have a couple of pork bar b que sandwiches with a nominal adornment of Tiger Sauce and some Bush's original bacon and brown sugar baked beans (many of you may have seen this in the famous "roll that beautiful bean footage" video from the past) but I'm here to tell you fuckwads, pretenders, has beens, hangers on, also rans, and dipshits that I like this stuff and eat it with what can only be described as zest or gusto. And if you don't fall into any of those despicable categories I noted above, you know what i mean. Otherwise, eat tofu and like it.

No, hominy, I never had in mind people eating or abusing soap or even eating stuff that resembles shit before it comes out of an ass. Sorry about that.

Well, earlier today I baked a Michael Angelo's Eggplant Casserole. Ate 1/6 of it for lunch. And just et another 1/6 for dinner. It's OK. Found it rummaging in one of the freezers and decided it needed to be baked and consumed ASAP.

Re: The Food Thread
The place is a trailer type thing like you might see at a festival or fair, parked beside a gas station. The guy who runs it used to run a couple of bricks/mortar places in Kansas City and has a lot of bbq awards and "best ofs". He semi-retired and decided he just wanted to live at the beach and work a few days a week. The first time I went there I wanted ribs - he makes them St. Louis style dry rub. I ordered a rack and he comes back out with this huge bag. Said he was almost sold out of ribs so in addition to my rack he just threw in what he had left. It was at least another rack's worth. We had ribs for several days - delicious.

Re: The Food Thread
My favorite in Pensacola for BBQ is the Blue Dot. Blue was a black man with blue eyes and his wife's name was Dot. They are long gone now.
He opened in the early 1940s. He opened around 10 and closed when he ran out of meat. No sign no menu, 1 table, a stool, 2 chairs and a line out the door.
His only helper, a nephew, has carried on with great BBQ ribs and burgers. That's it - burgers, ribs, chips and soft drinks.
About 20 years ago they moved a half block up the street to a bigger building. Still no sign, but the front was painted blue.
Recently a sign and a printed menu were added.
Still just ribs and burgers and closing around 3, or whenever they run out of meat.
