Re: Should this forum change?
'Hitler was elected' used to be one of the most common mistakes around. I've seen
it time and again. I thought by now it had sort of died out, but apparently not. I
always get a kick out of Tower's We the People obsession. He seems to think that
once the lobbyists are gone, everybody will agree on everything. Then there's his
let's throw out all the incumbents and the new people will be totally different mantra.
Really naive. Guess he met someone from the TN at the country club or somewhere.

Can you prove that? I've yet to see it and declaring your self winner doesn't count.Partisan62 wrote: Intellectually, I can go toe to toe with any of your posters, justifying my positions with facts, reasoned opinions and common sense. But to what end, when only insults follow?

No. You're doing fine, Banni.
Seriously, this really is a great place.
No sarcasm whatsoever in my comment(s).
I respect all here even if we might disagree at times.

Speaking of hilarious, "Foogle" is still a search term used to find this forum. Talk about infamy.Bungalow Bill wrote:Sort of like a boxer who doubles as his own scorer. Wingnuts=Hilarious.
Then again, "really ugly lesbians" also leads here.... I'm assuming that has to do with Big Ugly.... which is hilarious too when you think about it.

"Stupid" and "knee-jerk conjecture" don't really make effective bludgeons, but if you imagine that they do, and somehow magically imbue you with a sense of victory, then, by all means, keep it up.Partisan62 wrote: Or are you too stupid to recognize what I have been using to bludgeon you with on this forum. At least you're consistent.

I'll go along with obnoxious, though not the most obnoxious. Vrede can't hold a candle to Stinger. I would say that Vrede is more of a taunter than an agitator. Homie and Stinger have the agitator market cornered whereas Vrede writes words and phrases designed to bait and taunt someone into a pissed-off reply that he can continue to twist into knots to further taunt.....but what the hell, it works, he gets what he wants.DooHickey wrote:You are the most obnoxious of the agitators in these boards...

People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

Re: Should this forum change?
This thread alone is a prime example of the degeneration of virtually every thread here and thus the forum itself. People come and expect adult conversation and wind up engaged with a bunch that seems to have not progressed from the 10th grade locker room. I watched with dismay as that same group destroyed the BRN forum due to their inability to follow simple rules and now they are going to destroy this one in much the same way. The difference being is people are simply not going to stay and subject themselves to endless abuse. Perhaps if rules had been followed then the BRN forums would still be active...who knows. However, with no rules this forum will soon become a small group of like minded individuals who, with no one to attack, will grow bored and seek other forums to disrupt. SSDF
