OK, so it doesn't matter to me personally - I get TBS, but seriously - they're not showing the Final Four on CBS? TBS? Really?

If TBS (which I also get ) bid more isn't that on the broadcast networks for being too cheap?

It occurred to me that in the possibly unlikely event that the 'Canes get past Kansas, we'd have a Final Four to be happy about no matter who eventually wins. Sure, I'll root for UNC today, but if Cinderella keeps riding their pumpkin to the Final Four I couldn't be too upset about it.

If you were Roy Williams, you'd think it's pretty cool if UNC plays Kansas that you were the head of one or the other of those programs for 33 years.

UNC beating Duke in the regular season finale, by 13!;
Both losing to VT in the ACC Championship, Duke by more (15 vs 12);
UNC MM run beating #9, #1, #4 and #15, Duke beat #15, #7, #3, #4;
UNC's smallest margin was 7 (twice), Duke's was 5 vs TT;
UNC having 2 margins > 19, Duke's largest was 17.

Idk, I'm rooting for Coach K, but I might take UNC +4 if I was gambling.

I would be a fine day to be anywhere around Chapel Hill today. I actually was there for the '82 championship. All the downtown streets, and much of the adjacent campus areas were absolutely jammed. A lot of rowdiness, no real destruction or violence. The next morning the street sweeping machines had piled up mountains of beer cans and other trash, probably including some students. Looked like the morning after Mardi Gras and still smelled like beer and pot.

I'll root for Villanova 'cause they're a Philly team and not an Oz team, and because I think UNC or Duke might do better with them than Kansas. Either way, to me, it's like an opening act, a bottom of the card match, a preview reel...
