The biggest problem in all this has been finding suitable ceramic or glass eyeballs. When they cannot be found, I go with an eyes shut look or sunglasses.

Yeah, it's a little rough compared to the deer, above, but consider neoplacebo only got a days notice to get the business up and get the guy stuffed and mounted. Not bad for a rush job.

Thanks. The fresh ones are the easiest to work with.

Biologic fresh or hip-hop "fresh"?
Bio fresh of course. Nobody wants wilted produce. You gotta get in there and get to work to make a good specimen. I reject anyone who checks organ donor; takes too much time and paperwork. By then you might as well head for the cemetery.
Woman in Honea Path, not too far from Greenville, was out for a walk and mauled so badly by two pitbulls she had to have both arms amputated.
When she woke up from her coma to find her arms gone, she freaked out so bad she had to be sedated again.
Sad.
I don't particularly care for pitbulls. They're very strong dogs, and they have the ability to cause way more harm than, say, a beagle or golden retriever.
I carry pepper spray when I'm riding my bike around. Got chased by a German Shepherd that someone let's roam free the summer before last.
Until I was 24, a bicycle (and public transport/hitching) was my only personal transport.
I remember getting attacked by a dog when on my bicycle in Berkeley. The owner was in a house nearby so I rang the bell to complain. They acted like their dog would NEVER do anything like that. Bullshit. Fortunately the dog only managed to tear a hole in my pants leg, which I was able to mend OK. I'm not sure if pepper spray was available back then. I probably would have carried some if it had been. In fact, I might get some before venturing out on the bicycle again this summer.
Awww. , Useless. So much for "Ignored". You fail again. Plus, Useless, you've been busted too many times for anyone to believe you're not reading my posts, anyhow. It's just your excuse for cowering. Awww.
... Scorpions tend to enter SC homes in the spring and fall. They can get through cracks that are as small as 1/8th of an inch wide. They tend to like spaces around trash, bricks and lumber.
Scorpions are the most active at night, and they prefer to come out when the temperature is high....
When you go to bed tonight DO NOT think about scorpions. I mean it, NO scorpion dreams.
"If you decide to dine on scorpion, make sure that you cut the stinger off first. Usually the venom is produced and stored in the top two or so segments of the tail. And make sure you cook them! Cooking generally negates the venom’s poisonous properties, but you can still have an allergic reaction to it. Unlike a bee or wasp, you’re not likely to get stung by a scorpion after it’s dead"
