I wish it was that simple with Christo-fascists. They're drunk on the hateful god they've created.

FBI Director Wray denounces threats over search of Trump's home

The director of the FBI had strong words Wednesday for supporters of former President Trump who have been using violent rhetoric over the agency's search of Trump's Mar-a-Lago home.

Christopher A. Wray, who was appointed as the agency’s director by Trump in 2017, called threats circulating online against federal agents and the Justice Department “deplorable and dangerous.” ...
Today:
Standoff is over after armed man attempted break-in at Cincinnati FBI field office

All law enforcement operations have ended following an over six-hour standoff with a suspect accused of trying to breach an FBI office in Cincinnati, and being involved in a shootout with officers in Clinton County, according to the county’s EMA spokesperson....

It was not immediately known if the suspect was taken into custody. Previously, state troopers said the suspect suffered “unknown injuries” after exchanging gunfire with officers.

The pursuit ended on Smith Road in Clinton County, which is near state Route 73 and I-71. Officials previously said the suspect attempted to breach the FBI building, led state troopers on a pursuit that started in Warren County, and fired shots towards officers after the chase ended in Clinton County.

This is a developing story and we’ll continue to update this story as we learn more....
Is this related to Dolt .45? We'll see, but the timing is very suspicious.

Yep.
Armed man who tried to breach FBI's Cincinnati office killed following a standoff with police, authorities say

... Authorities have not publicly identified the suspect, but the Associated Press reported that an official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing investigation, identified him as 42-year-old Ricky Shiffer.

The official said Shiffer was believed to be in Washington in the days leading up to the Jan. 6 attack of the Capitol, and may have been present at the insurrection.

Shiffer was not charged with any crimes in connection with the Jan. 6 attack, the official said.

A USA TODAY review of social media posts by an account in the name "Ricky Shiffer" shows that the suspect may have been posting messages to former President Donald Trump's Truth Social site, even as he was engaged in the attempted incursion....

The man was armed with a nail gun and AR-15, law enforcement sources told NBC and CNN.

Dennis said no officers were injured by the suspect's gunfire....
A dead terrorist Trumpette is a good terrorist Trumpette.
Who brings a nail gun to a gun fight?
Something about this dude seems off I can't quite nail it down.
Nail gun, just in case he had to barricade himself...

Mark Meadows turned over new texts and emails to the National Archives within a week of Mar-a-Lago raid, report says

Mark Meadows, former White House chief of staff under Donald Trump, handed over new texts and emails from his time in the administration to the National Archives within a week of the FBI's Mar-a-Lago search, CNN reported.

The Archives had become aware some of Meadows' communications were missing after seeing what he turned over to the House select committee investigating January 6, 2021, the outlet said.

"It could be a coincidence, but within a week of the August 8 search on Mar-a-Lago, much more started coming in," one source familiar with the discussions told CNN....
Meadows is a traitor in his own right. Lock him up.

"Republicans stand with steel workers ... and barristas"
Certainly they do. Republicans are strongly pro-union, always vote to strengthen OSHA and other worker protectors like EEOC and the Wage-Hour division. They repeatedly attempt to raise the federal minimum wage, have sponsored and voted for many bills requiring paid parental/sick leave for workers ... oh wait.

Just wondering - suppose everybody agreed that "Hillary's emails" was a real crime and that she'll be sentenced to prison. Since the trumpists have all been playing "whuddabout" and equivocating Trump's actions, would they then be willing to acknowledge that what Trump has admitted to/been proven is also a crime and Trump should also be locked up?

Naaaa, just kidding. For one thing, none of them would know what the word "equivocate" means.

A "storage issue"?? That's the best he could do? Even taken at face value, a "storage issue" would also be a "protection issue" which would by definition be an unlawful security breach and law violation. Trump:
(1) shouldn't have had those documents in his personal possession after his last day in office, but if he did he
(2) shouldn't have taken or allowed them to be taken out of the White House or left at Mar a Lago, and if it was oversight he
(3) should have reported and returned them immediately though authorized personnel, and if he didn't he
(4) should have returned them when first asked, and if he didn't he
(5) should have returned them in response to the first subpoena, and if he didn't he
(6) should have expected some escalated action and when he got it he
(7) should have offered a reasonably believable reason for what he did/didn't do and claim unintentional breach and then
(8) shut up about it.

But nooooo!

By my count Little Marco has come up with Excuse #48. Here's Excuse #47, yesterday:

Trump suggests the Mar-a-Lago documents were bound for his library. But advisers say he's rarely talked about it.
As an ex-president bent on being a future president, Trump hasn’t wanted to leave an impression that his focus has shifted to his legacy, some close to him say.

It's fun mocking Trumpette that are still stuck on Excuse #23.

I had forgotten about that. Amazing isn't it, that all these people, Marco, Cruz, et. al., that Trump cruelly and crudely mocked and derided are willing to defend the indefensible instead of pissing on his perilous predicament.

marco has always been an explainer. One of his all time best was his claim that his parents fled Castro's Cuba in 1956.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
