I've watched the first two episodes, she's certainly hateable on the show (which, sadly isn't top tier so far). My only thoughts were she's a good actress.

I guess the racist punks didn't watch The Tragedy of Macbeth, or the hate mail would have started earlier.GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 12:37 pmI've watched the first two episodes, she's certainly hateable on the show (which, sadly isn't top tier so far). So far, so good. I just finished #2.O Really wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 11:06 amRFDS (Royal Flying Doctor Service) on PBS. Australian 8-episode season about a group of medical people serving outback locations. Good characters, good stories, good acting, good scenery if you like desolate. Stream for free with Passport or, if you prefer ante up $40 for DVD.

Not many, and more character names than their real names. I did not get the "guy", but I see it now. The 1980s were not a big TV watching decade for me. I may have only lived with one for a few months. I do remember going to a friend's to watch Hill Street Blues (NBC) every week.

I recognized a lot of faces, but it would have needed to run a little slower for me to come up with the names. Did they say who the guy in the beard is? Looks like Barry Gibb, but I don't think that's him.

If you click on a tweet you're navigated to the conversation and the full pic. Here it is, though I could have sworn that it was less blurry earlier:
You can also watch the video again and pause it at 0:37.

Thanks, I can see that, although I don't recall ever seeing him with a beard before. Looks good.

And right there Vickie Lawrence became a legend for all time.

My favorite was the the dentist Tim/patient Harvey routine. I think I even saw that one on its original airing, but maybe everyone "remembers" that.

Season 43 premiere.O Really wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 10:33 amIt was a good season and, if those were the final three we got, I liked the choice. I didn't ever like Mike and still don't, but if undeserving Romeo had won it would have been time to fling beer cans at the TV. I really wanted Jonathan and Lindsay in the final, but they just had too many people out to get them.
in case you haven't seen it.

I enjoyed the episode, and have nominated some for out-voting. Not sure why they booted Merriam, though. I would have dumped Owen. Sami is a beast. A lot of the players have good backstories.GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 8:24 pmSeason 43 premiere.O Really wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 10:33 amIt was a good season and, if those were the final three we got, I liked the choice. Could have gone either way.
Sami could is an interesting story but he's 19, he good and he knows it.
May not be a finalist recipe cause he's got ego.

Anyone watching the new one? Wife and kid are in control of the tv and they say they're liking it.
I'm not sure that I believe them. Finally some dialogue and the semblance of a plot, but it's happens midway through the 7th 1.5 hour long episodes.
The 1st 10 hours is just a bunch on over the top blood and Gore fight scenes separated by long recitations of lineage and successions.

Lindsay gave a clinic on how to bomb your own game. She's totally deserving of a wholly average fish slap.
Which reminds me of something else I've wondered. If you apply to get on Survivor and get through the first cut or so, you've got a decent chance of getting on the show. What sort of idiot tries to get on Survivor and doesn't bother to learn how to make fire?
And along that line - every effin' season of Amazing Race has put contestants into little European stick shift cars. What sort of idiot tries to get on Amazing Race and doesn't bother to learn how to drive stick, at a minimum of the learnable skills regularly required.
