I learned that NOMIC, CONIC and NONIC are all words and that ZONIC and FONIC are not - I know, I know, I was desperate. Also, NONIC was a Useless. I'd already eliminated the N from being the first letter. Maybe I would have gotten a 6/6, maybe not.

I hate hate hate 3 yellows, then having them 3 times more than trebled the misery. I had one frustration Useless in there on 4/6, but I was floundering so badly that I don't really think that it hurt that much.

Stumbled onto that stat on Twitter, think it was an ad.

My three yellows were LEA, so many possibilities. Took me until 6/6 to try the E as my first letter after my Useless.

Like you I also had LEA since 3/6, and even eventually narrowed it down to a word ending with AL and the E being first or third. I thought of and too rapidly dismissed the U , but just blanked on the Q until way late in my 20 minutes of misery.
