Lee Enterprises, for an unstated reason but most likely cost, made the decision across the board for all its papers to cut down the number of comics from 33 to 10. So it's not "several" other strips - it's the 2/3 majority of the strips previously carried. BUT - the rest of the comics will be available in their online e-version. As usual, right-wing self-victimizing and hysteria. Asshole.

Yeah, I have previously defended Dilbert, but this is ridiculous and ridiculously stupid. Almost like he was trying to get canned. Taken even with the most lenient perspective - he's a satirical comic writer with a tendency to offend, consider context, yada, it's still way too much. San Diego paper hasn't announced if they're dumping him yet, but I'd be surprised if they didn't. LA Times dumped him. It would be interesting to follow the strip for a while and see if Adams incorporates his misery into it. OTOH, he may just chuck it in.

Republican Congressman Andy Ogles of Tennessee admitted that he misrepresented his educational history after a report found that he lied about majoring in politics....

The news outlet uncovered Ogles' transcript from MTSU, which Ogles submitted with a job application more than a decade ago.
