I was thinking a more modern X-Files.

Is it rightwing propaganda like kiefer's Why we must torture TV show?
When I shift to my Fox Viewer Mode, I don't know or even care if there is an actual link between fox News and the fox TV station; therefore, in order to access the damages to our country through this bs TV show's glorification of torturing brown, or mostly brown people, sucks.
And kiefer sucks too.

Not at all. As with The X-Files, Fringe is more about sorting out apparently supernatural mysteries than it is about law enforcement. That said, the team is an FBI-scientist collaboration and people occasionally do get shot. However, I haven't seen torture in any of the episodes I've watched.
I agree with you about 24 and I will never forgive Kiefer Sutherland's participation on it.
I make the distinction between Faux Noise and broadcast Fox. While the latter gave us 24, it has also produced groundbreaking and highly entertaining shows. I don't ever watch the news on broadcast Fox, though.
