Americans very often pay attention to the same things… They keep saying that there aren’t enough old cars, not enough trash, that the BBQs are too small, and that the people are too clean, too slim and too pretty – their words, not mine. They also draw attention to the lack of racial diversity. There were also a few people who wanted to send us parcels from the States, such as the legendary red cups, to make it even more faithful.
Good points. There should be Latinos mowing the lawns and the cops should be abusing Blacks.
LARPing always seemed like a lot of effort, but I could get into a LARP that involved eating hot dogs, drinking beer, shooting guns and screwing the neighbor's wife.
Go Browns! Looks like they took the "not enough trash" advice to heart.
A few things missing, but photo album. Largely nailed it. Kudos for the red caps, but none of them are MAGA . Could use an old Chief Wahoo poster, too.
Idk if I would have been able to resist the urge to smack that shriek in the mouth. Might have been worth a night in jail and a ban from one of many airlines.
It was an interesting article: I think if you need the poke guide, you probably shouldn't be playing poker; the cheese list would have been good except that I had to get to #28 poutine to know what they were (except for #13 cheese curds); and the shower list is way simpler than they listed - warm shower good; cold shower miserable.

I assume the poker guide is for kids and other neophytes.
I was going to highlight the poutine citation for you, but didn't want to admit what a cheese dunce I also am.
Cold showers are good after working with fiberglass insulation - pores close so the nasty stuff can be washed off. Otherwise nope, though I have jumped into cold lakes, rivers and streams.

That would have been good to know, I suppose, in the maybe one time I've ever gotten into the attic fluff, but I'd probably have had to think about it even then. Hmmmm, itchy fibre skin; dash of cold water....itchy fibre skin, dash of cold water...hmmm, how itchy are we talking about? As I think about it, that was a pretty miserable experience. Florida summer, I climbed up into the attic to run some wires for outdoor deck speakers (that'll give you a hint of how long ago it was) Spent about 45 minutes or so up there, sweating, itching, and bitching. Didn't even occur to me to take a cold shower.

I did some remodels and additions decades ago, and laid rolled insulation in my current condo attic.
Yep, very itchy, and it lasts for hours if one first showers in warm water or doesn't shower at all. Then, it's not so awful with switching to a hot shower after a thorough washing in cold water.
My favorite hot springs have adjacent cold streams for dipping in then hopping back into the hot. Very refreshing.
