So why do the same handful of loons keep getting quoted all the time? Is it really so simple as the "news" people just print the most stupid comments for entertainment sake? Do the EmptyG's of the world just have better/harder worker publicity people that get them in front of cameras and often quoted? Does the media think (possibly correctly) that the public doesn't care about anything that isn't frivolous and showy? Has the media totally given up on anything of substance?
