House Oversight Committee Republicans were admonished by the FBI several times ahead of taking the action the bureau warned against — publicly releasing unverified information gained through a confidential informant.
The tip from the source — memorialized in an FD-1023 form — was never corroborated by the FBI, but it was nonetheless put into the public sphere Thursday as Republicans released what they see as central evidence into whether then-Vice President Biden accepted a bribe.
The release comes after committee members were told “the FBI expressly does not consent to the materials’ public disclosure or further dissemination” and that “the contents of the materials should not be discussed or shared in any form with anyone beyond Members and staff,” according to a disclaimer obtained by The Hill presented to lawmakers before viewing the form....
Joe is traitorous because Joe never turned office into a vehicle for personal enrichment? Only in 2020, I think, did Joe make a major book deal. Comer is an idiot, too.
At some point DerSantis will have so damaged himself that even if Dolt .45 dies, drops out, goes to prison or stumbles mightily the GQP will still not swing to Not Ready for Primetime Ronny.
Conservatives don't believe in checks and balances and separation of branches of government when it gets in the way of their political agenda.

Just heard on TV that there are problems with the plea deal and it may not go through. This apparently has nothing to do with the GQP whining, but that won't stop them from taking credit.

Trumpaloon judge.
Edit: deal's back on.
Eamus Catuli~AC 000000000101010202020303010304 020405....Ahhhh, forget it, it's gonna be a while.
My late dad the shrink said that "most people believe that if you change attitude, you can change behaviour. True, but it also works that if you change behaviour you can change attitude." So as Trump made it behaviourally acceptable to be a law-ignoring sleaze bag, otherwise "normal" Repugs began to see that as OK and followed that with sleazy behaviour of their own. Vicious circle, not likely to improve anytime soon.

Could be. I was only half listening, but it sounded like a technical issue as opposed to an anti-HunterHunterHunter issue.

Oh the irony.
He's normalized being an arrogant asshole, narcissism, misogyny and a few others.
Mostly by good "Christians".

Ah, thanks. I hope that means that the GQP whiners sticking their noses in a criminal proceeding are big fat LOSERS.
... The whistleblower’s more widely reported allegations are serious enough. Essentially he claims that he was investigating ties between Rudy Giuliani, and potentially other FBI agents, with Russian Intelligence Services and these investigations were suppressed. One of the other FBI agents turns out to be Charles McGonigal, the former head for Counterintelligence in the FBI’s Southern District of New York. McGonigal was charged with laundering money from Russian oligarchs and accepting bribes.
The whistleblower concludes that he does not know why he has been singled out for adverse administrative actions but:
“my strong suspicion is that one or more of my sources provided truthful, accurate information that is harmful to a person or persons that persons in the Bureau are trying to shield.”
In the context of the statement those persons being shielded would include Giuliani and other FBI agents. So by this whistleblower’s allegations suggest that Trump appointee Christopher Wray’s FBI is still shielding Giuliani. Indeed, Giuliani’s strong ties with Russian Intelligence is a major theme in the whistleblower statement....
RudyRudyRudy is a traitor.
“One of the alleged scenarios involved Hunter Biden (Hunter) had been given a lucrative position on the board of directors energy company, Bursima Holding Limited (Burisma), and was likely involved in unreported lobbying and/or tax evasion . . . I expressed skepticism since the scenarios described appeared only to target prominent business and politicians who were his [name previously redacted] political rivals. I suspected at this time that this could have been an attempt by RIS [Russian Intelligence Services] to push derogatory information into the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) that would give the opposing political party, which had shown to be favored by the RIS, a narrative to attack Joseph R. Biden (Biden) if he became the Democratic presidential nominee, which did in fact occur several months later. In fact, the derogatory information concerning the Bidens and Burisma quickly emerged in domestic U.S. media, suggesting that it was being provided for political influence rather than law-enforcement purposes.”
It’s notable that as the whistleblower passed this up to other FBI agents they were mostly interested in “allegation’s of Hunter’s involvement with drugs and prostitution.” They were not interested in the whole Burisma/Hunter scandal being a Russian Intelligence op.
I am skeptical of anonymous whistleblowers who generally fail to be able to identify who is supposedly persecuting them, and this person is one of those. Even so, he comes across as more credible than any of the Republican recruited (and sometimes paid) FBI whistleblowers. Surely even Republicans must acknowledge his claims must be investigated? Or not.
I hope that means that the GQP whiners sticking their noses in a criminal proceeding are big fat LOSERS.
That would be true regardless of the outcome.
As you say. The House GQP hearings have been a complete flop:
Disappearing "witnesses";
Witnesses that don't deliver what the GQP promised;
Witnesses that scrupulously avoid accusing Joe of anything.
So, what does TRE45QN's "independent" PAC do? It's TRE45QN, of course it lies and lies:
