Prosecutors in Atlanta have told lawyers for Rudy Giuliani that he’s a target of their criminal investigation into possible illegal attempts by then-President Donald Trump and others to interfere in the 2020 general election in Georgia, his lawyer said Monday....
It was the national championship game, and the coach of the losing team demanded the score be overruled. The losing coach insisted his team was the better team. He threatened his team's campus would riot and tear up the city unless his team would be awarded the victory. There were claims of cheating and missed calls by the refs, but after reviewing every second of the contest it was determined there was not a single basis for claim. In addition, the careful review of the game discovered numerous missed calls that would have gone against the losing team. More than a year later, the losing team's coach and fans continue to pursue the unthinkable.
A defamation lawsuit against Fox Corp., Fox News Network and Lou Dobbs can proceed toward trial, a judge ruled Monday after concluding that a Venezuelan businessman had made sufficient claims of being unfairly accused of trying to corrupt the 2020 U.S. presidential election to be permitted to gather more evidence....
Along with so many imprisoned, TRE45ON's Big Lie sure is costing others a ton of money. Good, bleed them dry.
One can see the trend of sanity here between Cyberninjas going defunct, OAN on the edge, Truth Social on the edge, Giuliani's reputation ruined comically with that streaming dye the cartoon representing that phenomenon. It may seem like forever but there is a price to pay for frivolity in the court system without evidence and harming your fellow citizens. Was there ever a reveal like Sydney Powell's that anyone with any sense knew I was saying stuff that wasn't credible. Well anyone but the alt right.
It’s gonna take some time, but I think you’re right.
Once the courts establish some precedent that these con artists can be held liable financially, they’ll shut up.
Sadly, until then, the damage will be extensive.
It's like food poisoning. A horrible, painful, seemingly never-ending process to clear the toxin(s) from the system. Unfortunately, due to a 4 year period where this stuff was "normalized/enabled" we're gonna be on the toilet expelling the toxins for a while.
You're up, Merrick. This should be all you need to file perjury charges against TRE45QN.
U.S. District Judge David O. Carter is just a couple of years older than TRE45QN. Wiki: "After graduating from college, Carter accepted a commission in the United States Marine Corps. He served in the Vietnam War where he fought in the Battle of Khe Sanh, receiving a Bronze Star for valor in 1968. He was medically discharged as a First Lieutenant after receiving a Purple Heart."
Hero. In contrast, the lifelong cowardly "bone spurs" Chickenhawk in Chief hid from Vietnam like an abused puppy.
Still in contrast to cowardly TRE45QN, Judge David O. Carter has remained a hero throughout his career, presiding over such cases as:
LGBTQ student rights;
Mexican Mafia;
Aryan Brotherhood prison gang;
Bratz dolls ;
Obama birfers;
Standard & Poor's;
And now the Cult .45.
Carter was also a homicide prosecutor prior to becoming a judge and has led an amazing, honorable life. Worth looking up on Wiki or elsewhere.
The Supreme Court rejected an effort by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., to block a subpoena for him to testify in front of a Georgia grand jury investigating attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
In an unsigned order released Tuesday afternoon, the Supreme Court said that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis could continue her investigation into efforts to overturn the election in Georgia. The state was the focus of former President Donald Trump and his allies in their attempt to subvert the election results, with Joe Biden winning the state by about 12,000 votes....
The order removed a temporary stay by Justice Clarence Thomas on Oct. 24 that had blocked the subpoena while waiting for a response from Georgia investigators. Shortly after the 2020 election, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, told the Washington Post that Graham had tried to pressure him over the phone into throwing out legal ballots....
When even this uber-con and partisan SCOTUS rules against a RW Sen and contradicts RW Clarence we really know that Lindsey and Clarence are far out on the egregious criminally treasonous fringe.
That was the answer Hannity gave, under oath, in a deposition in Dominion’s $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News, according to information disclosed in a court hearing Wednesday. The hearing was called to address several issues that need to be resolved before the case heads for a jury trial, which the judge has scheduled to begin in April.
Hannity’s disclosure — along with others that emerged from court Wednesday about what Fox News executives and hosts really believed as their network became one of the loudest megaphones for lies about the 2020 election — is among the strongest evidence yet to emerge publicly that some Fox employees knew that what they were broadcasting was false....
It's about more than just Former PINO. This is an example of the RW lies Faux Noise, OAN, Newsmax, WingNutDaily and others knowingly tell on a DAILY basis. It also tells us how very slow and gullible their viewers, the Cult .45 and other RepuQs are. Sadly, they will learn nothing from this.

Lock Former PINO up!
Merrick ain't gonna do nutin. He's avoided too many opportunities to do his job. Now he's simply Lucy pulling the football away from CB.

Less tentative - Fulton County, GA grand jury foreperson: We are recommending "more than a dozen" indictments.
Predictions:
#1: TRE45QN, Meadows and Lindsey will be included.
#2: Some charges will be for election tampering, most will be for perjury.
#3: Definitive statement that NO fraud occurred.
I'm starting to worry that what the grand jury foreperson is saying on media now may have negative consequences in the sense that she's talking publicly about grand jury testimony.....maybe not in specific ways, but still. I worry it will leave a possible way for trump to claim some sort of harm from her statements should he be indicted. Also read a story in which two former federal prosecutors kind of feel the same way. Guess we'll see.

You're not the only one, seems like she really wants her 15 minutes.
Eamus Catuli~AC 000000000101010202020303010304 020405....Ahhhh, forget it, it's gonna be a while.
One SMALL difference may be that this is a "special" grand jury with no indictment power. All it does is make recommendations which the prosecutor will take to a "regular" grand jury that will indict or not. Weird, clumsy and wasteful system, IMO. Will the "regular" grand jury be calling witnesses all over again? Then, her pretty vague words will have even less irl impact if the "special" grand jury recommendations are destined to be released, anyhow. We'll see.
Fwiw, she seems like a ditz to me - young, had never heard the tape of TRE45QN begging for 11K+ votes, did not vote in 2020, now gushing about how interesting the case is. I wonder how she got elected foreperson. Is perky a quality they look for? In the future she plans to vote for the "not crazy" party, which is kind of endearing.

Watched a couple of clips this morning.
Nailed it.

Former U.S. attorney and lead investigator for the House Select January 6 Committee, Tim Heaphy, reacts to new Washington Post reporting that Mark Meadows joked about Trump’s fraudulent election claims before January 6 and then repeated those same claims to Trump days later. Heaphy also addresses the question of Meadows’ key role in what happened that day and why his potential exposure may explain his recent retreat from both Trump and the public. “Meadows has exposure, there’s no question. He himself was in the center of all the prongs of the multi-part plan to disrupt the joint session,” Heaphy explains.
No immunity deals. Elderly TRE45QN is not so very important that it's worth letting Meadows skate. Plus, there are plenty of other avenues for hanging TRE45QN.
A Michigan attorney involved in multiple efforts around the country to overturn the 2020 election in support of former President Donald Trump has been charged in connection with accessing and tampering with voting machines in Michigan, prosecutors announced Thursday.
The charges against Stefanie Lambert come days after Matthew DePerno, a Republican lawyer whom Trump endorsed in an unsuccessful run for Michigan attorney general last year, and former GOP state Rep. Daire Rendon were arraigned in connection with the case.
Not low-level Trumpettes. Good.
Lambert, DePerno, and Rendon were named by Attorney General Dana Nessel’s office last year as having “orchestrated a coordinated plan to gain access to voting tabulators.”
Michigan is one of at least three states where prosecutors say people breached election systems while embracing and spreading Trump’s lie that the 2020 election was stolen.
Investigators there say five vote tabulators were illegally taken from three counties and brought to a hotel room, according to documents released last year by Nessel’s office. The tabulators were then broken into and “tests” were performed on the equipment.
... A state judge ruled last month that it is a felony, punishable by up to five years in prison, to take a machine without a court order or permission directly from the Secretary of State’s office....
Nessel announced last month eight criminal charges each against 16 Republicans who she said submitted false certificates as electors for then-President Trump in Michigan, a state Joe Biden won.
I've said since Biden's Inauguration that a whole lotta self-righteous victimhood will inspire the Right to commit voter fraud as if they live in the Villages.
