Is she admitting to adultery?
Is this a metaphor for having "screwed" Moronic SINO McCarthy?
Is she a literature ignoramus who has no clue what Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel is about?
I'll take literature ignoramus for $500, Alex.
I know they're congresscritters and all that, but somebody ought to tell these people they aren't on "Big Brother". Lying and betrayal is a life skill there - but if they consider it so in real life, something's badly wrong.
... In between these two votes, Scalise spoke at a white supremacist meeting in 2002 for a group founded by former KKK wizard David Duke. Duke went on CNN to defend Scalise....
Do I get a round of "O Really was right" now or is everyone gonna wait until a loon actually takes the gavel?
Sure...right about what?
Some people (who shall go unnamed) floated the uptake of McCarthy's dumping as maybe getting an improvement. I, being the eternal pessimist (realist) regarding Repugs, cast my bet on their replacing McCarthy with a bigger loon. So far, looks like I'm right although I would gladly but unlikely be wrong.
5 names that I'm aware of: Molester-abettor Jordan won't get the unanimous RepuQs;
Health-challenged David Duke-lite Steve Scalise won't get the unanimous RepuQs; Dolt .45 won't get the unanimous RepuQs; Moronic Kevin McCarthy (according to Aaron Rupar above) probably won't get the unanimous RepuQs unless the Gaetzites think the point has been made and are able to extract yet more emasculating concessions;
Rep Kevin Hern (OK) is definitely a loon, but Idk how the GQP caucus feels about him;
Six names if we count Speaker pro tempore Patrick McHenry by inaction default.
Is a compromise Repub that can get some Dem votes a viable possibility? Idk, but it would be best for America. Anyhow, the unanimous Dems felt that dumping SINO was worth all potential consequences. Who am I to disagree?
Do I get a round of "Vrede was right" now or is everyone gonna wait until a more moderate compromise RepuQ actually takes the gavel?

New candidate, lost in the GQP Caucus today to molester-abettor Jordan, but who knows? 55 RepuQs say they won't vote for Jordan on the Floor.

Scott attended President Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20, 2021....
My impression from Wiki is that Scott is mainstream GQP, less of a "loon" than Jordan and Moronic SINO McCarthy. He's been serious about accomplishing things in a nonpartisan fashion. Could he win Dem votes that molester-abettor Jordan never will?
