Wouldn't that be the best history ever?

What "results"?Three reasons Republicans could lose their House majority before 2024
With Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announcing he will retire at the end of the year, Rep. George Santos’s (R-NY) expulsion, and Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH) leaving for another role, House Republicans could lose their majority before 2024.
House Republicans hold a razor-thin four-seat majority, but that number will drop to two going into the new year. The margin for error for House Republicans is essentially invisible.
Kevin McCarthy
The House is at 221-213 with Santos’s seat vacant, and the departures of McCarthy and Johnson will leave Republicans with only three votes they can afford to lose....
"No matter the odds, or personal cost, we did the right thing," McCarthy wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed about his time in Congress. "That may seem out of fashion in Washington these days, but delivering results for the American people is still celebrated across the country." ...
Historically Dem seat with Santos' narrow election a surprise, guaranteed that a Dem wins the special election and 2024 general.George Santos
After the expulsion of Santos on Friday, Republicans have to maintain their majority through another special election before the general election in 2024....
Those poor students, profs and staffBill Johnson
Johnson announced he will not seek reelection in 2024 after accepting a job offer to become president of Youngstown State University. He will serve in Congress for several more months before starting his new role....

https://twitter.com/RonFilipkowski/stat ... 5805840488I think they've been okay since Moronic ex-SINO McCarthy groveled to Mar-a-Lardo to kiss the ring in late Jan 2021.

IIRC the ouster wasn't Dolt .45's doing. It's not like TRE45QN will have a lot of semi-competent Cabinet choices if elected.
Ah. There will be openings for self-described elder "statesmen" to appoint themselves to pick up the pieces of the shattered GQP.
Then the Dems are in great shape.

At one point in his remarks, he said "when I look at the Democrats, I see America; when I look at my party I see the most exclusive country club in America." Some may already have known about this; it was during the same talk where Kevin said the US has never acquired territory after the end of a war. So, he was correct once and wrong once.
A California Rep ought to know where California came from, Kevin.Mexico cedes to the U.S. present-day California, Texas, New Mexico, Utah, and Nevada, Arizona, and parts of Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and Wyoming for $15 million
Philippine–American War and Moro Rebellion: US occupation for 50 yearsSpain relinquishes sovereignty over Cuba; cedes Puerto Rico, Guam and the Philippines to the United States.
So Kevin McCarthy is acknowledging his party looks like a white supremacist party?
Now that Kevin’s country club membership has been revoked - he’s mad at the country club. But it was all just swell when he was their guy. Such a coward.
