Bowen Yang (Chinese: 楊伯文; born November 6, 1990) is an Australian-born American actor, comedian, writer, and podcaster based in New York City. Yang was hired to join the writing staff of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live in September 2018, ahead of its 44th season, and a year later, in September 2019, he was promoted to on-air cast status for SNL's 45th season as a featured player alongside Chloe Fineman, becoming its first Chinese-American, first Australian-American, third openly gay male (after Terry Sweeney and John Milhiser), and fourth-ever cast member of Asian descent.
He made history becoming the first SNL featured player to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2021.
10 years before he made it.He was promoted to repertory status before the 47th season....
Yang's high school calculus teacher, Adrian Holguin, was also his coach for Smoky Hill High School's improvisational comedy group, Spontaneous Combustion. Yang got a near perfect score on the ACT (a 35) and a 2200 on his SAT, and graduated from high school in 2008. He was named homecoming king and also voted "Most Likely to Be a Cast Member on Saturday Night Live" in his high school's yearbook.

I still like her. Glad to see Drew gone, but unfortunately my least favorite survivor, Jake, is still there Wouldn't it be funny if Julie, after teetering over the edge for so long ended up winning?GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 9:47 pmTrending on Twitter.

Although she's probably gonna win, I'm souring on Dee a bit.
Sort of amazing that there's a whole class of comedians that live to almost or over 100.
I like her but i also root for love.O Really wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2023 8:00 pmI still like her. I don't think the joke swap is rehearsed. "Hattie Davis" is apparently an actress who Che brought in to make Jost uncomfortable, brilliant!Vrede too wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2023 8:40 am.. Remember that entire show is scripted and prepared in advance. They have dress rehearsals! Sometimes the jokes can change up a little bit (and it’s possible Davis wasn’t there for the rehearsal), but that’s it.
We’re not here to destroy the entire illusion of the show or anything, but the whole purpose of Hattie Davis was to add to a long-running Weekend Update bit. We haven’t been able to find any record of a Hattie Davis as an activist online, nor in the third season as was referenced. She also wasn’t thanked in the goodnights, which makes us more confident that this was all for show and she was a construct created for the purpose of laughs. Regardless of if this Hattie Davis is real or not, the whole segment was played off so well that the bulk of the audience felt confused....
Yep, those were exactly my questions and the result of my googling. Whatever, "Amirite?" at 2:10 is genius![/spoiler]
