What do you mean - no experience with the aca? Read it again

Billie Sue is still in the aca and my son was on our family plan and then my wife’s plan for 5 years.

Yes, I have plenty of 1st hand experience with private insurance and with the aca.

Edit:
Yes I saw O Really’s well reasoned post. He’s right to a large degree, it’s just that I believe that I’ve seen enough to call her a typical republican grifter.
YOU read your words again. You didn't say anything about having ACA coverage. All you said was that you were no longer trapped by your preexisting conditions thanks to ACA.

Anyhow, OUR experience with ACA is of limited relevance without knowing Retton's income and liquidity.

Once again, Mary Lou did ZERO fundraising.
She was responsible for not carrying insurance.

Sorry, but I thought it was clear that the aca was the only way around obtaining coverage with a preexisting condition. I don’t know your experience with private healthcare insurance, it’s beat me up over the years, leaving me fairly well versed in the tricks use to mistreat consumers.

And, not that I expect anyone to remember all of my posts, I’ve complained several times here about my problems getting my son onto my aca policy.

And sorry again, but I can’t accept that she didn’t have the means. Nothing I read about her, other than her own words, indicates that she couldn’t afford insurance.

Add to the facts that here we are after she’s home the family says any excess monies will be given to a charity of her choice, but neither she or the family admits the cost for her hospitalization for pneumonia, or the name of the charity.

It all seems so very maga to me.

“ The move is called a full-twisting Jaeger, which is a move that has never been done in a competition before. It is when a gymnast swings backward in a reverse grip and performs a front somersault -- either in tuck, straddled, piked, or in a straight position.”

NBC is running these 15 second promos for Paris 2024 featuring different athletes. First one I saw was Suni Lee. I think they're brand new, maybe even today. I googled and searched YT and NBC, but was unable to find it to share with you. Maybe search in a few days? Here's a quickie about the making of her promo:

Suni + Paris = PERFECTION 🤩

I hope she can stay healthy. 2023 was rough. GoSuniGo!

Simone Biles cruises to her 9th U.S. gymnastics championship

... Biles finished with the highest two-day score on all four events, something she'd done only once before at nationals (2018).

Her only misstep Sunday came on vault. She came up short on her Yurchenko double pike -- two back flips with her hands clasped behind her knees -- during warmups and overcompensated when it counted, generating so much force she wound up on her back. She still received a 15.000 for her effort, a testament to a vault that has never been completed in competition by another woman and attempted by only a select group of men.

Not that it bothered her. Biles collected herself, took a couple of deep breaths, then followed it up with a Cheng vault that was rewarded with a 15.1 and put a ninth national title within reach. No other gymnast (female or male) in the history of the sport in the U.S. has more than seven....
